The epic ruin that followed is more of Shahi's arrogance. He thinks no matter what he shows his show will always be #1. Worst outcome is it slips to #5. So his serial is safe and hence, he can show some crapfest, citing stupid reasons like "long term vision", "making the narrative more exciting", "promoting women empowerment", etc.

The high(er) than usual TRP comes from the channel the show is aired.

Even the least TRP here would be the highest TRP on some channels.

I think he will fall for his Anupamaa ji harder than Anuj. He has already forgotten even the name of his restaurant Spice and Chutney. He was telling Kapadia ji ki Maa Curries and Chutney ka stall lagane waali hain.. Abhi se yeh haal hai thode din aur Maa ke saath time spend karega aur unki never ending problems ko sunega toh apna naam bhi bhool jaayega.. Today he was telling ki Kaam aap nahi karengi toh main kar lunga .. Mein nahi karunga toh koi aur kar lega.. Waise sahi bhi hai.. Ab toh Spice and Chutney ka kaam koi aur hi karega .. Because Maa apni pareshaniyon mein uljhi rahengi aur Deepu unko sunne mein toh kaam toh obviously kisi aur ko hi karna padega..
