Do you mean if the sweetness will be a thing of the past or the guy himself? Maa is capable of making both happensmiley37

Actually the problem is online audience does not have much of a contribution in TRP ( correct me if I'm wrong)

So I doubt whether anyone even considers their dis interest in the story ...

As far as channel telecast is concerned, there are people who just may be watching coz they have a conditioned habit or no other source of entertainment, hence even the most illogical track still gets some sort of ( decent) TRP n even if it decreases den lollipop n April fool tricks to hai hi na...so again the loop continues forever....lolzzzzz...

Agree.

See, it's simple nafa-nuksaan.

My interpretation is that it is a cycle hard to break.

As a platform they have a large consumer base. So, when one takes a subscription either to the OTT App or the channel, one wants maximum for the money spent. While entertainment may not be the primary reason for subscription, there are sports, news, movies etc. that would come as a package and the likelihood of subscription increases. Now that one has subscribed to it, one is likely to view it and eventually, it becomes a habit. TRP is Not a measure of liking, it is a measure of viewership, liking or not be damned. So, as long as the show is playing on the screen, the TRP is counted.

One purchases the package for a different purpose --> one ends up watching something else because, hey, I have bought the package --> one ends up habituated to it even though you dislike it. --> TRPs soar.

Tagging members who might know as much or better on TRPs (based on previous posts).

Agree. As long as Star Plus is streaming on TV screens between 10-10.30pm, the trp is counted. Not necessary all those people whose screens are on are meticulously watching the show or are emotionally invested in it. SP found its dedicated subscribers long back and has been able to successfully retain them as well.
