Anooj! why now?

I get that Anuj is trigerred by Maa’s presence in the US, he was doing just fine or atleast pretending to move on from her painful memories though unsuccessfully but he was trying….my beef is with maa(of course) why is Anupamaa feeling this sudden reconnection with Anuj? wasnt she the one who left him with a vulnerable (adopted) child?

I’m not gonna go into her reasons for leaving cause thats a whole other exhausting debate but I wanna know why she’s missing, dreaming and praying for someone who she didnt bother to check and sulked in her self inflicted pain…

According to Aadhya, Anupamaa is supposedly happy with her kids and grandkids, thats where she’s mentally stuck in time…Anuj obviously didnt clear her misunderstanding about the whole accident and who caused it …but Aadhya’s issue is not just about that, she was lead to believe(by MD and Paakhi) that Anupamaa doesnt love her enough and that she will leave her for her real kids which is what happened she thinks…

Its strange that Anupamaa just stood there baffled when Aadhya questioned about her coming to the US, she said ‘mai yahan kyu aayi hoon nahi pata’, as always Anupama focussed on the question rather than why it was asked…it didnt occur to her that the teenager has some deep rooted issues with her being there, why else would some random kid be so interested in her.

Anyways coming back to Anooj, what does maa want from him now?

It seems like Anuj hid alot of things from Shruti, which is weird since he was in love for 26 years plus 3 years of marriage to Anupama. He got engaged to another girl, but did he tell her all??! How he fell in love had a crush, her name, her past, his feelings?? Or does he wants to begin a new life by hiding stuff. Because this would not be fair to Shruti. Second i’m not seeing that Shruti is asking anything regarding his past. I would be dead curious, especially if the guy had a child. I would want to know about the mother and if that would create an issue in my future relationship. The fact that Shruti is so intelligent she doesn’t put her mind to ask the right questions. The story is confusing. Anuj is having cold feet in getting married. But not while proposing ?? Proposing in itself is a big thing. i haven’t seen Shruti bond with Adhya that much. She only hovers around Anuj for his attention. Adhya likes her because she keeps her company as a friend, but other than that. No mother daughter bond. I wonder why Anuj chose someone for Adhya who doesn’t even bond with her.

No offense but this is just like how the makers shift focus from Anupama and her mistakes by highlighting other points.

And to answer your question, I dont think Anuj is doing right by Shruti, getting engaged to her, keeping her in the dark about his feelings is wrong I totally agree and detest but that has nothing to do with how Anupamaa is behaving, they are two different issues.

Just like she focussed on question while leaving Kapadia house instead of why he asked those questions and what led to that build up - aapko aisa lagta hai Mei aap par aur Choti par dhyaan nahi deti, aap dono ko pyaar nahi karti? Aapne mujhse sadi karke galti kar di?

She never understands the depth of a situation and a conversation, her Bhashans and mind both are hollow😂

I'm 99 percent sure that at some point Anuj will say that he never really truly loved Shruti. He's just with her because he wanted Aadhya to have a mother-figure to bond with and look up to. Someone who would not abandon her and go away.

So since Aadhya and Shruti got along well and since Shruti was very unlike Anupamaa, he decided to 'sacrifice' his own happiness and commit to her for the sake of his child.

He will say he only ever truly loved one person in his life and that person is...

No SEGGS for 5 years has really made her crazy for Anuj.

Don't worry! Aadya may also see Kinjal and Pari's bonding with Anupama, strengthening her belief that Anupama never cared for her. She will also go and tell Anuj the same, prompting him to prepone his wedding with Shruti!

From hereon RS can bore us more showing Maa agreeing to be a caterer for the event. Aadya & Anuj may try to hurt her! But new lover military man will stand up for her, making Anuj jealous. There may be multiple "fall & catch" with both Anuj and Deepu. Buddha-Buddhi ki ajab Prem kahani! 😂

Meanwhile, Shruti will remain confused or become negative for some time like Kavya. This boring khichdi will become even more tasteless with the presence of Shah family, including Maa's biological kids!

Ideally, Shruti should know about both Maya and Anupama. She should know what led to MaAn divorce.

Plus, an adopted kid hating her adoptive mother so much is a red flag! Shruti should have pushed Anuj to tell her the reason for Aadya's hatred bcos tomorrow if she has a baby with Anuj, Aadya may accuse her also of prioritising her biological child over her!

But it is Shahiverse. Here old and matured adults behave more like desperate youngsters wanting to jump into relationships. Nothing else matters to them till relationships get entangled in a complex web!
