Ek toh maa hasnt paid her a visit abhi tak and ever since maa has landed in NY, Liberty Island is deserted with hardly any visitors…kyu? arey woh isliye ke ‘Spice and Chutney’ Desi Island is the new place to be

Trivia about the place:

• Anuj rides his bike and gets his coffee(with a straw) here
• Random musicians play at the square to give maa an opportunity to showcase her kaala and passion for dance…
• People get robbed and harrassed here, so beware of street crime
• Santa Claus hands out presents throughout the year, Christmas has no relevance here
• The S&C restaurant is Shruti’s second home.
• Everything is just a few blocks away from here- Kapadias, Yashpal, Desi Grocery Store etc etc
• Traffic is selective here, taxis can be shtoppped in the middle of the street or the same taxi will run you over the next minute.
• Its the hangout joint for all desis missing maa ke hath ka khana minus the 5 panno ka bhashan
• White people feel out of place here

It's also the place where green screens with random backgrounds and people are displayed and fake Americans with accents nowhere near American. The makers really think the audience is dumb. 😂😂
