I don't think divorce has happened. I think MD did some Kaala jaadu on both of them so they started hallucinating that they were sitting in front of a judge and were granted divorce hence they both believe that they are divorce..

I have a big doubt on this specially after hearing Anuj confession, so there is definitely a twist there.
