Not sure how many of you heard the bhasan, but the moment I heard the subject line, I fast forwarded the entire thing until the precap.

OMG!!! This show has been even promoting mothers in a bad light. So, as per Anupama madam if you are MAA then you cannot have professional life. You cannot give time to yourself or have your own dreams as you are a MAA. What nonsense is this??? This show does not deserve to be aired in 2023!!! I cannot believe that such a regressive show is number one.

Star plus should retag itself as rishta wohi soch puraani!!! This cannot be a nayi soch at all. Mothers were like this maybe 20 years ago but now mothers fulfil their dreams along with upbringing their kids.

Anupama is saying that a MAA of 3+1 cannot be trusted with any professional responsibilities and she only has to take care of kids. This is utter nonsense.

Shame on Rupali Ganguli for portraying such a character which is even untrue for her own personal life.

She has become the one of the most regressive FLs of ITV. Not surprised though as the channel knows that such regression and toxicity is easily lapped up by people and this reflects in all their shows.

I travelled a lot due to my work setup. I have met at least 1 woman every week who would stay 5 days away from their toddler or pre-schooler kids because their job posting is 6 hrs of train journey distance from their workplaces, kids are being grown up by the daddies and their family members. There was always pain, but women (and thankfully many families) have come to accept it as ‘it is what it is’. There was this 1 woman in Canada who left his son back in India in his Board year (10th standard) to fulfill her aspirations.

Duniya kahaan se kahaan pahunch gayi, and this show is still stuck in ‘Maa hoon ne’. 🤢 This is not only unreal, the glorification is morally wrong. 😵

My problem is that she was a mother right from beginning then why did she sign the bond out of ego and anger over Anuj? It wasnt that Anupama got pregnant with Anu after she signed the bond and she had all the time to talk to MD when Maya died. Why did she had to wait until the flight was about to leave to realize that she is a MAA??? This show has been portraying working mothers in a bad light and that is my problem to answer your question Surabhi. Anupama is a fictional character and I do not care about something that doesnt exists.

Time and place of how we voice our concerns is important. Yes! It is absolutely ridiculous to leave CA in the state she was in and go to America. Once she chose that path, She should stick to it. Imagine doing this in real life, not only does the employer get irritated, they might also avoid hiring women/ mothers in general

From where did her mamta come from as soon as the seat belt clicked & the flight pulled off the terminal (not sure when she changed her mind?!).

Aisa kounsa teer maarna tha America jaake? She could have very well, continued her career(if she had one!!) where she lives along with being a mother to CA if “mamta” was her priority. Now that she came back, she is going to cry, drown in tears that she missed out on an opportunity. Akhir, iss aurat ko chahiye Kya??

Absolutely thats my point too. Anupama has never learnt to keep personal and professional life separate. And this is because she hasnt completed her education to understand this simple fact. She could have asked MD that they would like to complete CA's adoption as she is still a foster kid so that her US visa could processed and then all 3 can leave, they have the money. Anupama always has tossed one of something to give priority to the other. She doesnt understand how to find a beech ka raasta!!!!

In my opinion, it is common sense. Humans are naturally wired to juggle priorities, adapt to changing priorities etc, women are quite adept at it!

My main grouse is that whatever decision she takes, is accompanied by a heavy dose of self victimisation which is absolutely unnecessary when the decision is taken by her and not someone coercing her.

If she's wanting to be a Maa, fine. Why feel so bad about it? I don't see her as someone interested in her career but even if one assumes that, there's a ton of opportunities available in India as well where she could have taken care of Choti alongside. Why did she give up the new dance academy she set up? Is America the ultimate end goal? And if America is where she aspires to go, why feel guilty and do this last second drama. She could have asked them to come along eventually if so. But no, she doesn't look for solutions. She just wants to be bechaari at every step

My question is why to give hopes to indian audience in the first place. Every day people think anupama will do something big and show that indian women are not less. But every track is a trash 🤣

Udaan se pehle hi plane crash hotha hai. Then what's the point
