They don't. I really don't understand why ITV feels slapping is the solution for everything. Honestly GMaa should take therapy for her violence/anger issues. Agree with you that the scene is totally uncalled for. Could have made her take revenge with class like you know maybe block every one of Anupama’s dance performances, not allowing her to teach by maybe getting all her students, suing her, publishing in media about her unprofessional behavior etc etc... but they chose to go the cliche slap and threaten route... well we can't expect anything more from these writers.

The above video is from a promo not the episode, so doesnt ahve the background music and repeating 3 times, but its same scene

DKP seems to love slapping scenes we had Anu slapping Kavya, Toshu, Pakhi, Samar... all adults... I know they were wrong according to the narrative at that point... still... It's uncalled for considering this is no.1 TRP show... But looks like people enjoy these slaps... so yeah can't do anything... Enjoy the slapfest har roz raat 10 baje only on slap star plus..

It's because ITV likes to pass off a lot of problematic things in the name of drama, most of which are punishable offences by law.

Cheating (not jailtime but can cause heavy alimony), mental and physical abuse, stalking, corporate fraud, harassment at workplace, child abduction, fake domestic violence accusations.

Forget main and support cast, was any police case registered for Pakhi's school mate who harassed her at Kintosh engagement or Kinjal's pervert boss?

Ab har baat ke liye law abiding citizens ki tarah police bulayenge toh show ka naam Anupamaa se change karke Policepamaa karna padega.

Show ka naam Anupamaa hai to sirf Anupamaa hi problem solve karegi

So just slap and move on.

Point is not if Monster devi taught Anupama a lesson, the point is MD had no right to slap Anu and I would appreciate and respect Anu more if she too gave a slap back to MD. Guru samman gaya bhad mein, its 2023 and the stupid lady cant raise her hand like that. Contract toota? go sue her, but thappad was moronic

Anupama had slapped so many in the show including Kavya. Even a mentally ill Maya got slapped by her mother. If that is ok, this is ok too.

Sorry to disagree, the ones you mentioned deserved slaps because they did wrong things, like Kavya showed up uninvited and forcebly sat in a pooja and Maya was pure evil in more ways then one, tried to break a marriage. Anupama just changed her mind to be with her sick child and did not deserve a slap. Monster devi has a right to sue Anu for breaking contract, not hit her

Ok, so then its not about physical violence being wrong then? Its about who deserves it? Maya was literally mentally ill, so we should slap mentally ill people to cure them?

What about when Anupama abandoned her paralyzed husbad, left her daughter on the road and went to spend time with her ex husband? Did she deserve being slapped?

(P.S. my stand is, no one deserves physical violence, if someone is not leaving or creating scenes, call the police)
