Progressive or Regressive

I feel apart from anupamas 2nd marriage everything else in the serial is regressive as shit. To name few.

1. Saas is always saas.

2. Have to be careful with spouses friends [kavyas relationship with vanraj]

3. End of the day wifes duties are measured in food/house duties.

4. Even though we want to improve. Societal and home needs will pull us back.

5. Irrespective of your financial status you cant be happy.

6. Sabji waali bacchi can be mistreated.

7. Adopted child is a toy that can be bet and played with.

8. Inlaws should be spared irrespective of their mistakes.

9. People are always behind money!!

Its just an uninspiring story of a doormat.

Or a tissue paper.

No offense to doormats or tissue papers.

Maintaining healthy boundaries is not possible in middle class families. If you try to have good boundaries you automatically are some mean/modern/egoistical person.

Older folks should be allowed to speak and act in harsh and mean way because it's disrespectful to not let them.
