Kids are kids. Biological. Foster. Adopted. Are just adjectives. All kids deserve love and care.

Its same as

Women are women. 45+ or 25+, divorced. Widowed. Single. All women deserve love and respect.

Let us not just blindly support all wrongdoings of a WOMAN just because she has a sad history.

Even Anuj and CA has had a rough life. They did not even have their loved ones on their side for most of his life.

Anuj never played victim. He worked through his struggles and became successful. And encouraged and supported anupama every moment. But anupama chose to serve tea and khichdi to her ex in laws and adult kids instead.

I actually wrote something similar in response to one post here and deleted it as i felt the language was too harsh

This is the biggest problem with shows like these. In real life people have progressed, adopted kids are loved and understood and respected. Women are marrying, divorcing, having kids, marrying again later and later in life

All these stereotypes like foster kids discrimination and divorced women being baggage or not being able to move on is only in these regressive shows. Yet people without real life experience believe such stereotype is truth based on such shows and keep parroting it

Well it will be his first divorce, Anupamaa ka toh dusra divorce hai, proving her to be the sore lover she really is. Clearly she isn't marriage material time for her to hunt her next bakra after Anuj.

Agreed, she had a bunch of problems, what has she done to solve them?

The marriage was not new just for Anuj but for Anupama too, how much time and effort did she give. Usually when you get a new ray of hope after years of struggle, you will do everything in your capacity to preserve it, aise "grent me nahin lete".

On atleast 3 occasions, Anuj has, no ambiguous terms said she needs to re-assess her priorities and that she is being unreasonable with Shah waasis. He has also said that her behaviour is ruining Choti Anu's innocence and she is ageing more than she should because of this environment and her treatment.

But she wanted sab sab sab, so 🤷🏻‍♀️.

But please explain me what is her contribution to Anuj-Anupama relationship.

Now when she said mere liye mere pati aur beti bohot bohot bohot jaroori hain, sabse pehle, toh madam ji yeh khayal tab nahin aaya jab:

1. Mishter Shah ne Aapke sabse jaroori insaan, Anooj par attempt to murder kiya aur aapne FIR tak karna jaroori nahin samjha?

2. Leela aapki sabse jaroori beti par taane kasti thi?

3. Jab Aapke sabse jaroori insaan Anooj itne bade haadse se ubhar rahe the, wheelchair par the, memory flashes ho rahe the, paralyzed the?

4. Aapki sabse jaroori beti ka Aapke saath Dance competition tha aur Leela ki Khichdi, kachumbar raita, papad aur achar aapke liye jyaada jaroori tha? Ek bachchi ko sote hue Kinjal aur Pari ko ek car me highway par chod kar nikal padi?

5. Bina kisiko bataye aapki sabse jaroori beti ke liye phaisle liye?

It's the years of neglect and selfishness which is adding up now. Even now when he is sad and depressed his wife is celebrating with her ex

Simplifying that to - foster child went away - is disingenuous. Everyone watched this show, we all know why the outburst came. It was caused by years of neglect in many many situations which has been adding up

Years?? They have not been married even for one year!
And at the time when he should have reprimanded her for neglecting them he was pretending to forgive her…multiple times. And now after bottling everything up he has an outburst and wants to dump her?

They could have had conversions about it on multiple occasions which could have avoided this.

And this man supposedly waited for her for 26 years and married her knowing she has baggage? Doesn’t make sense.

Atleast three times (from my regular viewing) he has told her, first by asking her to keep distance from toxic environment, then showing her that her wanting sab sab sab is coming in the way of nothing being able to handle everything and that she needs to prioritize especially when she is co-fostering a 7 year old who needs a mother more. Then 2 grand showdown, one after the Dance Competition and another on New Years eve.

When Leela barged in overnight requesting her to move to Shah House, there was a clear show of disappointment/disapproval.

Oh that already makes it 5.

So, 5 times in 1 year is a reasonable ask, right?

Anupamaa has misplaced priorities, agreed. She is an idiot, also agreed. There were cracks in their relationship, agreed again. But mind you, he is dumping her because she is responsible for letting CA go. Everything would have been rosy again if CA had chosen them and Maya would have lost. The puppy would be back. He doesn’t even KNOW that Anu actually DID let CA get manipulated and go. what would he do then? Murder her?

Come on. How can a well educated business tycoon not understand the concept of fostering. Is this the same Anuj he was for the last 26 years? The same guy who did not marry all these years because he loved her? Can the love of 3 decades be lost over a child you knew for barely 6 months?

The words that they are making Anuj say are not making any sense to me whatsoever. Same way it did not make any sense why Anu let CA go despite knowing that she loves them more.

This is a desperate attempt to raise the TRP, I for one will not watch this stupidity till this madness stops.

Marriages fall out due to the loss of a child, sometimes an unborn as well. Duration one spends with someone is not directly proportional to the intensity of love.

Especially when it comes to children. I have said this earlier, human mind is not a machine which can be switched on and off. Emotions take time to settle. Yes, he was fostering the child and had not legally adopted it but he was emotionally, deeply attached.

Why couples stay in a marriage or breakfree from them is also for a fairly newer relation of patent and child.

I highly doubt that. If there was one person he fought for (other than Anupama) and fought with Anupama for, was, Choti Anu. After repeatedly calling out her neglect, this would still have created a dent in the coffin of the relation.

Anuj asked her what she had lost and Choti Anu was the only relation left to call his (may be because either GK and Malavika left or distanced themselves or he distanced the ones left for her).

He mentioned Anu was enjoying despite HIM and Choti Anu being there and this made no difference to her.

Even today, he mentioned that for her, her blood relationships, Shah family were important.

This inferred that he realised Anupama cared less for him and his family and that he was but left alone.

I am actually surprised.

Don't know if the writers or the actor's inputs. Carefully sentenced, restraint execution.
