Anupama is 100% responsible for Vanraj Kavya situation

We can say that Vanraj is a bad guy and a cheater and the relationship would never have lasted, but you cannot deny that Anupama constantly spending time in her ex's house completely spoiled their relationship

1) Anupama never allowed Kavya to take over responsibilities of the house, she was constantly there and making others need her. As a result Kavya never got an opportunity to bound with Baa etc like a daughter in law does. Same with Vanraj's children, Anupama never allowed Kavya to bond with them

2) Anupama's constant prescence ensured Vanraj will never get over the emotional attachment with his ex. You need time apart to get over your previous feelings, but ex being present always will never let you move on

3) Kavya will always face insecurity, Anupama is always considered the perfect and the best person and Kavya is compared to her and put down. The family goes running to Anupama and she reciprocrates. Both her MIL and husband goes running to Anupama. How will any person feel in her situation?

4) What happened in the end was always going to happen, anyone will feel attachment to their ex if they keep visiting them and do emotional things with them. Its very natural. And what Vanraj said is natural too.

The saddest thing is that the show/characters will blame only Vanraj. Kavya is upset with Vanraj, but no one will blame the real home breaker. Kavya will continue seeing anupama as a hero and respect her. Kavya even says she has no problem with Anupama

There is no way anupama is so stupid se doesnt realize what she is doing to Kavya and Vanraj. But Anupama is an incredibly selfish person who doesn't care, she still wants to be important in Shah house as well, usko sabkuj chahiye, no matter how many relationships she breaks.

I dont agree with all your points…but strongly agree on maa ruining their relationship by constantly butting into their life…

Kavya never really had that typical bahu trait so she could never please Baa…

And regarding her bond with the kids, I thought she bonded better than maa,only now they’ve conveniently turned to maa being their bestie…

Vanraj is male Anupamaa…he wants to be important in everyone’s life just like maa, only difference being the victim card works for maa and doesnt for him…

Kavya is dumb tbh to idolise Anupama and put Vanraj down when maa is the root of all their issues.

I can understand how infuriating it'll be to watch a character like Anupama when she's like the worst of both the worlds - overglorified as a goddess yet portrayed as a forever victim of her tragic circumstances. Many of your points make sense and I understand where you're coming from.

But I'd still blame Vanraj so much more than Anupama. The man only loves himself and has no capacity in him to keep anybody happy. The 9 year old affair worked so beautifully because both Kavya and Vanraj were in unhappy marriages and found solace and comfort in each other. Vanraj had the best of both worlds, which he didn't realise then, but is realising now. He had Anupama to take care of every little detail of looking after his home, so he had enough time to spend with Kavya who took care of every little detail of his emotions.

Once the divorces were done with and both "unhappy marriages" were taken out of the equation, did they have a happy marriage? Far from it, and not just because of Anupama. Even the marriage itself, what a sorry spectacle it was with Vanraj running away like a coward and Kavya threatening him to marry her.

Point is, I think they are fundamentally incompatible as a married couple, and they would have reached this point, with or without Anupama.

She possesses the exact opposite of a Midas touch.

Their relationship was never meant to work!

Anupamaa acted more like a catalyst by living at SH after her divorce when it was the perfect time for Kavya to build healthy relationships with other family members which she couldn't because of Anupamaa always meddling into Vanraj's life!

This relation any ways wasn't going to last, you know... from what I remember, vanraj had to be forced to marry her, that in itself is a huge red flag. The property snatching, divorce papers fiasco, etc we all know too well. Latest is Kavya losing her job due to vanraj. Both of them are incompatible with each other and have their own set of issues.

Anupamaa's behaviour (which we can all agree is a series of blaring red flags) can be counted as one of the major reasons, but not the force that drove them to this point. I would say she is more of a catalyst that sped up the process.

A relation of two people can truly be broken only by those two people.

IMO, Kavya & V are incompatible, their marriage would not have worked,they were never meant to be together are moot points. No sane person can tolerate ex-wife living under the same roof and taking over the house like Anupama does. I wholeheartedly agree that Anupama is a home breaker in the guise of a home maker.

Irrespective of how Kavya ended up marrying V (acting crazy in the resort etc) when they arrived home, Anupama was welcomed inside the house like a new bride. K was ignored. This is wrong. Especially from those who scream of being an epitome of good, kind-hearted folks, upholders of customs/traditions etc. Several such incidents over time leaves an impact, growing its insidious roots only to manifest into worst behavior.

She sold off her share of her flat to her ex-husband and did not even have anywhere else to go because she was so deluded in Trashraj's love. Now she's experienced enough to come back to her senses and tried to be independent but at the outset itself she put all her chips in one boat (Vee) and that boat sank

Mahan Maa's constant interference in shah house has caused all trouble in thrash n Kavya's marriage.That woman has audacity to still use Kavya's kitchen as her own n doesn't even take permission to use it.She still interferes in their house hold matters as if shah house cannot function with out her.Maid maa doesnt want to let go of her hold on shah house thats why ruined Kavya n thrash marriage.

Kavya should move into KM and say, here I am in return. You take care my family and I take care of yours, Anu. Fair is fair. 🤣 I do agree Anupama is to blame for every problem in both families. Can’t stand to be in the mess but can’t stand to be left out either.🤦🏻‍♀️😡
