Rakhi was on fire today. She raised great points, showed the mirror to abusive in laws of her daughter and ensured that their misplaced rage is transferred to her rather than Crinjal who is already struggling.
The dialogue about them mistreating those they call beti even more than their enemies was especially hard hitting. In fact not just Tamashahs but such people in general use this very conveniently to mask off their abuse by saying "she is not our bahu but like our beti". Doesn't that imply that a bahu would naturally be mistreated. Ideally, one should treat a bahu with respect and care and a beti the same way as beta, with equal love and affection. But shameless shahs do neither. Does jhule ki chudail even remember that she has a daughter called Dolly?
In fact she claimed that Anupamaa was thriving and they never did anything wrong to her which Rakhi ably countered. Rakhi was certainly a good mother today. In contrast the so called greatest Maa, Ghatiyapama also has the same philosophy as dukhmukh to address bahu as beti and then let them be abused and mistreated.
