Choti Anu is one annoying kid.

I understand that this will be an unpopular opinion but I guess generally the CVs of tv shows don't know how to write child characters- they either make them extra mature and intelligent or too annoying and bratty. Here also, the CVs leave their brain at home while writing characters. They have made Choti a bit too mature which is understandable I guess because she grew up in an orphanage but her attachment to the Shah family, who have only treated her like scum is baffling. And like somebody else already posted here, Anupamaa is already enabling Choti by giving in to her unreasonable demands instead of explaining stuff to her like a parent does to their kids. We can see why 2 out of her 3 kids turned out to be so messed up. I have nothing against the actor who plays the role of Choti but the character seems a bit too extra and already on the way to becoming another clone of Anupamaa.

Do you read the justifications people give to defend these characters?? Like whenever anupama and CA keep running back to Shah house ,

For Anupama: She has been living with them for 25 years . It's almost impossible to detach. She has been conditioned.

For Choti Anu : She was an orphan who always wanted a family.

Meanwhile the writers be laughing in a corner minting in money for writing such nonsense.

And it's not like Anupamaa doesn't have an actual mayka. Her mom and brother are still around and they are actually Choti's relatives. But no, somehow Anupamaa is brainwashed to consider Baa and Bapuji as her parents (the ones who don't give two shits about her and in fact just give badduas) and she has cast the same spell on Anuj and Choti. Only Dimple gave a sensible response to Baa by stating 'Nobody would want to enter the house where you're staying' lol.

Think about it this way, CA was always reminded and made to feel that she was adopted and that she had to walk on eggshells so that she doesn't upset MaAn. Even previously she had subconsciously wanted to throw tantrums but withdrew after seeing MAA's misery.

Now for a good while Maaya has pampered her and she has been getting what she wants easily. Even MaAn are spoiling her by agreeing to her tantrums because they don't want her to prefer Maaya over them.

It's because of above factors that CA is putting forth her actual wishes which she had to suppress because of peer pressure. She now feels wanted, instead of having to compete for MAA's attention over her blood relatives.

She is behaving just like a normal child would. A good parent would have given her life lessons but they are too busy competing so that they can get in her good books so God save her!!

Uff ye jaan lewa umeed… this would go against the very tenets on which the show rests. Which is…*all together now*… 🎶 Meri Anu galat ho hi nahi sakti 🎶 🙃
