Disgusting, vile, hypocrite Baa creates a scene after catching PaAdhik red handed. She accuses Aadhik of forcibly bringing Pakhi to a hotel room to take advantage of her. So when her married grandson have *** with some random woman in a hotel, it is galti but when other's son does the same thing, it is kidnapping, rape.😡 This woman is the root cause of all evil. Unfortunately we have to hear the regressive speech about "maryada" and how a girl and boy basically can't do anything before marriage, otherwise the main iTV audience might boycott the show, along with the sensible people who already have. Talking about contraceptives, safe sex etc. will never happen, so let's not even go there 😆

But the rest of Anupama's speech was on point today. Pakhi really needs a reality check. Adhik and her should be kicked out of their houses and it has to be seen what they do in life. They'll both coming running back to their families in two days once the "pyaar" wears out, considering both of them mainly want to be with each other for the money. I wish they focus more on the fact that both are dependent, good for nothings than the whole "maryaada" and crossing the line BS. But Baa is unfortunately still alive and they have to cater to "sanskaari" audience so there will be tons of drama, it's better to be prepared to hear all of that 🤔

Atleast one good thing that they showed, freedom comes with consequences. Kids in Western countries start to earn at a young age and start to learn to adult and take responsibilities. They start as baby/pet sitters, tutor, mow lawns, wash cars, work at cafes or as grocery baggers, here cannot compare with India kids especially girls because such opportunities are not there and are not allowed or frowned upon Eg. Even Obama's daughter worked in coffee shop, but would that would not happen in India, it's a different mindset/culture

The money they earn helps them make their own choices in what they want to buy or how they want to use, teaches financial responsibility.

At 18 after 12th most (65-70% in US) leave home for higher studies (vs less then 27-30% Indian young in same age group go to college of those most stay home not hostel) vs western kids go to different cities where they have to live on campus away from their home, yes parents pay for tuition, food, books, other necessities, they also have loans and scholarships but kids still have to do their own chores, some earn while studying to help with expenses.

So yes in Western countries kids adult and know their responsibilities early on, they are dependent on parents but that dependency slowly decreases as they move on to be independent young adults.

Adhik is a moron, he somehow thinks he is going to get some part of kapadia empire, he has no stake in it. He could ask for Anuj's guidance and mentorship to help him but that's about it and living in US he should know that nothing is free🤷🏻 you've gotta earn it. Don't like his characterization.. but oh well... Let's see

Yeah true but I think most people of the earlier generation and the audience that usually watches the show will have a shock if they see sex before marriage or casual sex being shown as an acceptable thing, haha. Their mindset won't change so drastically even if Anupama were to give 100 bhashans on the same 😆 If Pakhi was independent and sensible and also not such an arrogant brat, what she said would be correct. So instead of overtly showing it as acceptable, they can at least cut out these maryada and crossing the line dialogues. At least that way they won't be encouraging already regressive mindsets.

In contrast, Indian shows that come on Netflix, Hotstar and other OTT platforms normalize sex to a large extent, thankfully.

Anupama always chanting about Maryada between her and Anuj is so cringe... We know they are still in Maryada and will be till their last breath but that does not mean every other couple has to remain celibate.
