Shoot All Your Unpopular Opinions

Man, this show has become so tiresome now. But of course, I watch it out of habit and still crib about it but I have a dozen unpopular opinions.

1. Sudhanshu is the best actor in the cast. He is a very infuriating character, and SP's off-screen antics also are a bit weird but I have to say, every shade he portrays well.

2. Choti Anu is the worst thing to have happened to this show. The kid is damn cute but the character is so irritating. She's a miniature Anupama, and bad enough we had one, we have to deal with two.

3. Anuj is a manic pixie dream boy. He has no arc of his own. No storyline apart from Anupama. All the dynamic traits he had from September-December are now gone. He's written as the antithesis of Vanraj with no defining traits of his own.

4. THE MOST UNPOPULAR OPINION: Rupali needs to do something about her acting. I know every day millions on social media hail her as phenomenal and master of her craft yada yada but I just find her so unbearable on screen. I thought her acting during the Pakhi insulting her episodes were bad, but now they're just terrible. She's trying to make it authentic with the shivery voice and shaky hands, I'll give her that- but it's very contrived. Indrani Halder from Sreemoyee and the Tamil version of Anupama have better lead actresses. AGAIN, MY OPINION only so please don't attack me.

5. The writers don't know how to write a romance between two 40-somethings. It's obvious they don't want to go overboard and make it cringe but it still comes across as very cringy.

6. Kinjal was a great character but her Papa jaap made her annoying. She has seen Toshu insult her beloved mummy so many times yet she stays with him. A very contradictory character.

I agree with the 2nd point,Choti Anu's character is too annoying 🤢The kid is cute but the show could do better without her,at least naam toh doosra de dete,yeh kya hai choti choti har baar🤢

Rupali Ganguly is a good actor but i really cringed at how she tried to behave like sridevi initially ..for e.g. those stupid shaky head and hand movements..her annoying head bobble....that looked plain stupid ...her acting in prequel was cringe af.. couldn't she behave normally? ..like an average woman ...that over the top sharmana of her and her trying to be chulbuli..i hated that..it was annoying . ..wish she acted normally...

IMO, RG was awesome earlier but has become repetitive and limited with her acting. Whether it's Pakhi telling her not to dance with her on stage or Baa asking her not to return to SH, she gives the same intensity shaken reactions. That doesn't look realistic.

Finally. Somebody said what i want to. Rupali does need to do something about acting. Its repetitive with the same expressions every single time.
Sudhanshu far better actor than her. However he is onscreen/off screen but one of the finest actor in the show for sure

I agree with each and every point. But, not only Rupali is over-acting. Except Sudhanshu, all are over actors. It looks like everyone were released from the zoo and dancing in the streets.

But I can't really blame the actors. It is common to see good actors do a lot of over-acting in Rajan Shahi's shows. Rupali was amazing in Parvarish and she has more expressions in her face. But in Anupama, it is just bad. Same with Madalasa and Alpana, the characters are written to be with over acting.

I like Ashish Mehrotra, Muskaan Bamne, Nidhi (sometimes) and Sagar Parekh's acting and found it much better.

Paras and Anagha are the worst. Samar's new love interest is a good actress.

Regarding the love story, it looks like a teenage love story. No maturity.

ANOTHER OPINION:

Tamil version of Anupama has better star cast, better characters and better story than this Hindi version.

Sorry to say that but I do not agree with you. As its not unpopular opinion, its popular ones.🤪. that's why no hustle and bustle or less activity on IF

Rupali's acting is repetitive and her same rona dhona, wiping nose, mouth with pallu, placing pallu on her mouth and dialog delivery with speed of shatabadi express....OMG!! ..so annoying. does not affect me now.

Most irritating character is Baapuji. Addessing Anupama as devi, Laksmi, and Bhagwan .. I dont know why but I dont like it . If Maa is Devi, then Baa , RD, Barkhas are also devi. Moreover, had Baapuji cataract or some eye-related problems for 25 years. in those 25 years, he was not able to see God like traits in anupama. Was Anupama witch and all of sudden, she has transformed into Devi.

Kinju Baby.. when she lectures on Maa, the value of maa, It seems, a lion is delivering a speech on Vegetarianism. Behan, pehle toh apni maa ka samman kar le. When she stares at RD or laughs at the taunts of Baa on RD.. seriously.. she knows what is Maa. She wants to be like Anupama.. means more Toshu or Pakhi on this earth😭

Choti Anu----- baaap re baap woh toh kahi se bhi choti nahi hai, bhai woh toh dadi ki bhi dadi hai. No doubt, she is very cute but you are right we can't tolerate two Anu. Ek din mei bacche real relatives se mix nahi ho paate, jitni jaldi, yeh forced relatives se ho gayi hai. Naye ghar mei, ek week mei apne ghar ka fan aur light ka switch nahi pata chalta, 1 hi raat, mei isse sab pata cha gaya.🤣

Unpopular opinion from my side: GK seriously needs to work on his dialogue delivery. The way he speaks makes me want to scream at screen, "For God's sake, act like a normal human being"😆

Only problem I have with Bakkiya is the snail pace.

But I feel the discovery of Ema was better done in hindi for the dramatic effects and the quick pace of course. Repetitive story would take a toll on any good actor.

I agree with all your other points. I was against the CA entry from the beginning. I wanted them to adopt maybe a year later... and the child should have different personality not similar to Anupama. They have done like this for leap purpose.

I would add that I found the new Kapadia clan entry quite annoying and was never able to connect with them even when they were positive/grey. Oh another unpopular opinion, I don't like Anu's real maayka either. They should have pulled their daughter off the Shah House the minute she divorced V. She didn't have sense, her mother should have had it. Sorry, it was plain annoying for me that her mother didn't knock some sense into her daughter's head and make her realize the truth about the Shah maayka.
