Episode 602: Anupama does the puja and grah pravesh

The episode starts off with Anu turning off party music and tells BB that puja first and then party - that she is not opposed to party, that even she met Anuj at a party.

She asks everyone to remove shoes and most of the food /alcohol outside

Anuj requests everyone to join in the puja - you can imagine BB's expressions.

All kids, anu/Anuj even AB join to rearrange furniture and make it puja ready while Vanraj is just observing BB and BB is in shock (internally thinking that she got a special permit to serve alcohol and in the end became a puja instead of a party) she is just fuming

GK ushers the pandit

Baa is fuming at BB's behavior and V says she's from US and so her behavior excusable, to which Baa retorts that even Anuj is from US but he is unlike BB. Kavya chimes in that she likes Anuj, his new family, and this house, and she is happy to see Anuj's love for his wife to the extent that he officially put everything on his wife's name and expresses that Anu is lucky, (V feels sheepish)

Baa observes the younger siblings Shahs- Kapadias all getting along and says it would be good to stay away from each other's families.

Puja begins and everyone sits, everyone does aarti including AA/BB!! AB tells BB to not take everything in an offensive way, even in the US they did pujas - that she needs to back off.

Then pandit asks the owner of the home - to put the kalash on his head and walk in the house with the rest all following -

BB voiced her fear that whoever is perceived as the owner will also be the Kapadia empire owner and she cannot let 'Anu' be that!

Anuj insists that his wife carry the Kalash inside as the owner! Anupama has flashbacks of Vanraj kicking her out of 'HIS' house vs. here her husband making her front and center and owner of the home - quite moving parallels of her life! Vanraj is also thinking about the same - how he yelled at Anupama - that who will come to HIS house he will decide

Anuj takes a step behind his wife and she walks in -

BB says, if Anuj was not married, AB/BB would be doing this ceremony, the media would cover them and they'd have the limelight - AB reminds her that she's the one who didn't want the puja. BB Says she's not interested in puja but in the Power.

Anupama walks in and takes BB's hand and brings her along by saying, the house keys might be with one person but the home belongs to us all and that she is also the elder daughter-in-law and this is 'our' home so the Kapadia bahus will do the grah pravesh not the owner of the house.

Anuj/BB say they're happy to walk behind their wives (lighten the mood) and everyone walks in

Then comes putting haldi handprints by the bahus - BB absolutely does not want to dirty her imported german paint and french designer's style by putting haldi on the walls, while Anupma is adamant in preserving the culture - long arguments both sides, Baa can't hold back and gives BB her piece of mind as well -

Anuj to the rescue - he brings a white sheet of paper and says we'll stick this at the door, paint saved and ritual done - everyone agrees to this.

Sara chimes in - that she has the best Chachi - anuj says you mean chacha and teases that she's chachi's chamchi already. They invite GK kaka to do the honors, followed by AB/BB, and then Anu/Anuj put their handprints

Episode ends

Precap: Same as this afternoon promo- Bapuji burps and is ridiculed by a guest/BB, Vanraj speaks up, Anupama stands before between them and Anuj is right beside her

Opinion: I feel they are showing the quiet, loving, supportive, kind observant demeanor of Anuj, he is not aggressive like Vanraj but all-knowing. He only speaks when absolutely necessary (He knows Anu can defend/take care of issues and shows his support) and they're also trying to show that he is ALWAYS by this wife's side no matter what (unlike Vanraj) in the entire episode she always looked at him and he was always there supporting her with his eyes or a reassuring touch. This gesture is so important in a relationship, something doesn't need to be said just expressed.

I felt a much more balanced episode today -

Anyways, let's see what the major/minor Kaands are in the next few weeks, it's slowly building.

Today episode is much more balanced..

They are showing the parallels here..

In her previous relationship.. She has no rights on anything...vo koi faisala nahi le sakti thi.. Jo uske husband ne kaha chup chaap maan liya..

But in this relationship she has that right and vo uss right ka use bhi kar rahi hai..

Anuj know that she can handle issues and he is just showing support to his wife..

They are showing that now in this house.. Anu can take decision on her own and her husband will full support her...jo uski previous relationship mai nahi tha..

Vo anuj ko week nahi dikha rahe.... They are just showing that now anu has that right...

It's just my POV..😊

How long is this house warming party going to continue? It's so boring. Since Anu believes a house belongs to every member she invited BB to complete the griha prabesh ceremony with her. Then why not Anuj? Why was Anuj behind her while she was holding BB's hand. Are Anuj and Anu so dumb that they don't realize BB's true intentions? She was shouting Mera Ghar, Mera Ghar why Anuj did not interrupt?

The only thing liked in today's epi is the eyelock between V and BB. They have sizzling chemistry. Hope they joins hands.

After every word she is looking at him for support and he just show that he will support her...
