Not talking only about Anu here,but in general.

having s** is not a task or duty that a married couple has to fulfill, its a natural thing that brings them closer, if either of them is not comfortable with it then they need to figure out why that is if you are in love, its an obvious way to advance in a relationship.

And about Anuj being her lover from college days: As I said Bhavna copied the thumbnail from OG, but then KGF released. Jokes aside, Anuj's character has been completely butchered after his accident. In OG, Anuj is a very well written character. He is calm, savage, kind, helpful and more importantly loved Anupama, he helped her establish her garments business (or some kind of business) before marriage. After marriage helped her gain confidence and start her singing career again, their conversations are like gyaan ke moti. Wish BV atleast watches that and take some inspiration or just copy only.. that also will be good.

But in og version, their love story/mature love story whatever was never in focus. I also didn’t like Sreemoye only confessing and wanting to get married to Rohit after she found out he had cancer. Plus they had many ridiculous track. Also the actor playing Rohit had film commitments and wasn’t there for months. Their love story wasn’t in focus that much. I would have hated to see the confession/marriage like that in this version. Also since MaAn became an overnight sensation, they had to cater to the audience demands of showing romantic scenes between these two.. and I prefer it that way. The kind of love Anuj was shown to have for Anu, it’s only doing justice to his chr to show a proper love story. Of course somewhere there they messed up the story with Vanika track cuz hero needed to be given screen space. Besides that, MaAn, their love story, their progression in this version is handled lot better than other versions.

I do wish they would now show Anuj encouraging Anu to complete her education and learn English.
