As per psychology the basic nature of human never changes all life

Yes human may suppress his basic nature for benefits, promotion, for jobs before elders like parents and teachers and boss and classmates or colleagues and relatives

But basic nature of human never changes all life from birth to death usually (unless you are not angulimal and meet a Lord Buddha)

So us expecting vanraj to turn new leaf and leave his narcissm cannot truly happen in this life

Or audience wanting anupama to stop her slavery of shahs also very tough because anuj is understanding and allowing not putting foot down too(that may supresws her true nature for some time not permanent). Imagine we do not do many things because or parents may get offended or teachers may punish etc so act good and do not do things which make elders angry. Same for anupama, she needs a parent or teacher to control her nature and guide her do do whats correct. In shah house vanraj and baa controlled her and samar and bapuji guide her to do good. She never really did anything of own will always pushed by others like samar or devika or anuj etc. Same way to stop going to shahs and getting involved there she needs a strong person to forbade her to do it. Do they enjoy others pain like troubling dogs and cats?

Yes in front of parents they may act nice or obedient because they need parents money and stay at their home get food etc dependent

Or in front of teachers for marks

Or in front of boss for salary

But their basic nature never changes of selfihness, jealous, socio path, anger or hatred and narcissism etc

Its foolish to think a movie or serial may change a human to be better

Only those who are by nature good may change or become better

But bad people narcissist psychopath socio path etc those who are always jealous of others or trouble others be it office or home to change nature its impossible till death it stays same

If you aska psychiatrist can a narcissit become good not really yes they can help them supress those bad thoughts or nature but not for long. It comes out eventually some day back to basic nature no matter doctors tell or parents or friends
