A COUNTERPOINT - just for fun!!

A counterpoint, so says my online Oxford Wiseguy, is a thing that forms a pleasing or notable contrast to something else. Example:

"the sauce made a piquant counterpoint to the ham"

Friends, after all the annoyance, anger, etc. etc. we have been experiencing, I wanted to write something very nice:

1) I think the COLLEGE date was really nicely done. Our MaAn looked swell (-), the bike ride was too cute, and the evening dance-dinner was so elegant and expressive of their togetherness. Anuj's prank with the fake burning candle lit and lifted up what otherwise could have become a heavy scene.

That it was too short, is basically because we want to see THEM ONLY all the time 🤗

2) Contrary to many (>most?), I thought their purple Sangeet/Mehendi outfits were really looking nice, particularly Rupali looked so very beautiful with that hairstyle and glorious make-up. And the matching outfits of the cast were done with equal style and creativity. 👏
(Though why Aneri gets to wear those skimpy outfits, and why V+B are following the colour and style of each event, is a puzzle. For Aneri radiates a classy quality that does not get justified in what they make her wear or even do/say, at times. And V+B are virtual outsiders to all these events, so why should they wear matching clothes???)

3) The Haldi ceremony of today was a sweet event in which both our stars looked as gorgeous as could be. Quite some posts have already come up about GK's looks. But RG was no less; she looked stunning and regal; at the same time almost in awe at what was happening with and to her.

And their mutual facial expressions, WITHOUT WORDS, were out of this world

MaAn, for whatever storyline they have to follow, whatever pieces they have to mouth, whatever actions they have to perform, ... MaAn were, are, and will remain the stars in our eyes.
IMO, at least ⭐️
