Exactly. Even if they didn't want to show what MaAn were up to till the evening, they could've given a dialogue about shopping and lunch date. There was too much of social message in dialogues. Main aam ladki thi, koi filmy love story nahi hai and the worst, humara pyar bukhar ki tarah nahi chadha! Like really!?🤪 Somebody fell in love at first sight and 8 months of college were enough for him to keep that love alive for 26 years! Bukhar nahi toh kya tha! I wanted to say Bukhar ki tarah hi chadha tha trp bhi aur MaAn/AK ka craze bhi ab utar bhi waise hi raha hai! 🥺

I completely agree about lack of acknowledgement for Devika. During the dance competition too, when Anu was ready to tie the knot, I would have expected Anu to confide in Devika. The way Devika was inserted into the story at that point of time was odd. 😲

I know right. No thank you, no emotional hug between friends. No mention of 10 days hospital stay, the laminated rose, going to Anu's house immediately after he got to know from Devika about her wedding, Bunty's scooter. Anu would've realized the depth and extent of his love! What does she know about this man that she's going to marry?I hate to write this but Do MaAn even care about his parents? (that scene after janmashtami where AK mentions about his mom. He's getting married and not one nostalgic scene about his parents not even between GK kaka AK and Mukku)? All the time ba bapuji jaap! No interest from Anupamas side in knowing about new family? Instead of Mika Singh I wish they would've brought Bunty as anuvar/best man! And let the Gujarati wedding remain a Gujarati wedding with mehndi, garba dandiya night and other Gujarati wedding customs. Here they've made sangeet mehndi a big khichdi with Mika Singh Rakhi Dave and shah family as usual!

I am so happy for the trend stop ruining Anupama! Copying what I wrote in another thread.

The college episode has completely ruined MaAn for me. I will never forgive the makers for that debacle. What was the rush for giving bapuji ba and vanraj screen space in that episode? They had so many loops to close but they didn't dedicate one episode to the college visit! No mention of 23rd July 1995 date and time, magnets, sharing cold drink, best dancer trophy, Valentine's Day proposal with ma ke kangan, Anuj seeing Anupama as Vanraj's bride, Anupama the student, hockey fights for Anupama, and the worst of all, IMO, no mention of Devika! The same writers who gave Devika a dialogue with GK kaka few episodes back.. where she mentions that she has let go of a project for attending MaAn wedding were so insensitive to give AK dialogues like "Yeh college humare pyar ka eklauta gavah hai!" and "Jo batana tha sab bata diya!"Where was that guilt that Anuj had after returning from Mumbai when he said "Jo hua uski life me meri wajah se hua. It's all my fault!" There were so many things that Anupama needed to know. Did MaAn even thank Devika? No respect for someone who played cupid in your love story!? I haven't watched any episode after that and am not planning to watch either. The transition from college to the dance was flat. The shayari was misplaced it should have been said in the college campus. I missed the chivalrous AK! The dance moves didn't flatter me much or may be because of the irk of the previous scenes I couldn't enjoy them. I couldn't make head or tail of the morning to evening jump. Ek lunch date dikha dete toh Vannu ko screen space kaise milta? It just makes me sad for AK especially and for anupama. Even in the wedding track they have zero respect for MaAn and their story!

This happens when one writer with already reduced memory writers 3-4 shows and doesn't remember the important and high points of each of the shows! No focus on the story and it's important milestones!

We can gift notepads to Bhavna to make notes of all these with red marked 'to remember'

You made the hurt 10 times worse by mentioning all these points! Really can't get over these!

That's the reason MaAn are losing the established charm, their substance and depth is nowhere now!

I'm glad you liked it. The missing elements ruined the date for me. The dance was too.. Like it was very evident that it was choreographed. The setting the clothes and all were fab! But some of the moves were not convincing. I wish they had some cheek and forehead kisses while dancing. Instead of AK laying his head in her lap for a second and then getting up some dialogues about him finally being at peace with his head in her lap!

Yeah I agree.. would've liked a little more of dancing.. maybe like them just swaying to the music lost in each other's eyes..

And yeah would've loved to see him in her lap for some more time😕

I absolutely agree about writers being busy with too many shows and MaAn losing their charm because of that.
