I don't know what will it take for the makers to realise that they cannot fall back on maAn for their TRPs and it has become very evident. the confession, proposal, acceptance, dance comp, global acceptance or whatever you may call it did NOT work.

It is very clear that the SH drama is the issue. Even the online TRPs suggest the same. So who are these TRP aunties they are trying to please? I'm sure our moms watch this too and i haven't heard or read any review online which has said that "oh my mom likes this SH drama" or "oh my mom likes this regressive thought process".

Again, drama is not an issue, this rinse and repeat is an issue. this negativity is an issue. the halting of her progressive and the story not moving forward is the issue.

Every good plot either has a stupid end (like the dance comp bit where they did not even end it well) or they cant carry off a social message well (eg: this week's monologue). Everything is haphazard and now it is beginning to feel like they want to give a message/show some progress and then come under pressure to put in SH toxitcity/trash's face. To me, the writer's/markers are facing the "being at 90s ka pressure that the batsmen face"

Also, it is itv so not expecting major logical scenes or plots but some sense will really help. seriously. Like we all have been saying, this is not even close to RL because who the hell goes back to their ex's house after being insulted and having their character assass? Kids want their mother, they know where to find her. the ex FIL loves her, he knows where she stays...

And I get the whole stigma on the wedding track but repeating the phrase "dadi ki shaadi" is a bit too much of a stretch. and i'm not even going to the "baddua" thing because it is just so stupid. One hand you talk about progress and breaking stereotypes and on the other hand you take 100 steps back and enter into another era of baddua/curse. Seriously? Like the random and lame accident track wasn't enough that they had to add this?? I'm not saying curses don't exist or anything but yaar it doesn't really fit the storyline only.

Moving on to this week, we have had 4 episodes (so far; not sure if we will get it full fledged tomorrow or only on Sat) without AK/MaAn content and also have IPL running, how do they except their TRPs to sustain? I won't be surprised if it goes down to 3-3.3 level next week given this lame U turn and ofcourse the MS (without even ending the dance compt/acceptance track properly). Monologue would've given them some respite but no, they had to ruin it with today's epi/running into tomorrow too most likely.

And at this point, I doubt if they are even remotely interested in fixing it cus it is still number 1 (even if FD is trolling/screaming/shouting) and bagging awards!

The people who are still watching are watching because of MaAn, yes.

But those who are LEAVING, are leaving because of the pathetic writing and negativity. Giving 8-10 episodes of regressive and negative thinking and then 1-2 good positive episodes will not work.

People are tired pf SH drama, same villains saying same nonsense. This “DAADI KI SHAADI” is illogical and insulting not just to Anupama but all daadis everywhere. And the madness of Anu living in SH is unforgivable.

I stopped watching the show on hotstar since a long time, only watched the 1-2 good episodes in last 2 weeks. And now my mom, who used to watch every episode religiously, is also not interested. She asks me which episode is good and only then watches.

The story needs to move forward and in a new direction.

100 % agree with you. If FD can understand the TRP heros why can't the makers?. After all the hard work of RG, 11 hours of standing and 60 pages of dialogue delivery, dancing till 3.00 AM ...... and the whole fandom unitedly appreciated this..... unmindful of Anuj's absence .... all are again spoiled with Baa curse and Bapuji's stupidness. Throughout 500 + episodes he was not protecting her..... unnecessarily did emotional blackmail to retain her as cook/ servant/ nurse/ caretaker etc., etc., . Is he so idiot that after all those aspects pointed by Anu and the negative reaction from the gang of six.... he says the marriage will get done from this shah house. This will sure to bring down the TRp. When the makers keep feeding the auidience what they hate again and again , even the few lollypops and hardwork of one individual will not remain in mind. If Anuj is not brought in and take his stand that Anu is his would be wife and she needs rest/ relaxation and happy environment so he is taking her back... the TRP will not pick up. He already promised Anu that they will also have a grand wedding..... like the other serial. How is it possible from this tamasha house?

Completely agree! Each track has been butchered beyond repair. Is so much of negativity needed for TRP game? I dont think so.

Those MaAn scene lollipops also seem forced and lacks charm. Feels like something is missing & incomplete. I dont understand why makers would want to ruin the popularity this show has brought them.
