Exactly. Yes it’s shoddy writing but her dialogues didn’t indicate she intends to chose family and society over her love.

“Aaj yeh kahani khatam kardungi” - she’s determined. She’s about to finally break that last shackle that is holding her back from pursuing her happiness and embracing her love and choices. So yeah that’s where we are heading.

The whole thing was never about reconsidering her decision. She’s in turmoil because the kind of chr Anu is sabko sath main leke chalna hai.. she wants both.. but her bubble has been burst in the worst way possible. So yeah she’ll finally do right by her and Anuj.
