Tuesday being a Tuesday, here are my v v v late 10 cents on today's episode (i've read aap sab ke comments and I agree with all of you in bits and pieces). Here is how I see this:
Mukku-AK-Vannu - Mukku firing Vannu/dissolving partnership - I get. How did she suddenly realise this? I'll pass to that. Logic is limited here. Let's just go with his karma/universe being at play.
AK-Vannu bro love - so I agree ki AK ka Mukku ko request karna is weird especially when Anu ke birthday ke episode mein he clearly stated that he isn't interested in how she runs the business but probably because the following scene was shown them reconciling (or whatever that milan was), probably he felt that she does consider him important or worthy enough to listen to his request. I don't feel that his decision was done to please Anu or to get into Shah's good books at all. He is a businessman but he is also someone who loves his girl (and a lot!). He knows mucchad has no redemption, leave that, ffs he did not even show any expression when our hero jataaoed that it was cus of him! (Vannu has been lacking expressions, wonder why makers aren't seeing this? Oh my bad, happy fraandship dayy)
Also, I'm all for second chances. Anu gave him one on context of his "badla roop", he gave him this chance for his kids (as long as makers don't mess this up, i'm ok with it)
He purely did this for the few relationships he has in the family and above all, he exactly understands her baggage and this one was for her. They compliment each other in this aspect (Mera Anuj - Meri Anu)
And ofcourse, they couldn't have shown his downfall so soon, that wouldn't have worked well with the storyline (although the story should be Anu centric but nevermind). Whether they could've done something else instead - debatable but would've been an interesting watch (however, going by their track record, they are too bad with testing waters so family mein hi ghumate raho is always easier)
What the makers will probably now show is Kapadia v Mucchad (cus manipulation track didnt work) but maine doosre thread mein bhi bola, mudda toh yeh tha hi nahi!!!
Anu isn't selfish or responsible for his actions (she tried to stop him from giving up his business in the first place), he isn't blinded by love for her. I feel it is more to do with the relationships he has craved for in life (again not Vannu cus we are not shipping that ship😆😆)
the last scene (and i'm stuck here). before I get into it, means hats off. the 2 minute scene was the highlight for me. They do it so so well. If fri was do pal, sat was aarti, monday was Anuj's savage avatar, then today was this.
Coming to the scene, I have read a lot of threads on twitter on this plus aap sab ke comments
Whether this was shown for Anuj to be a bigger person - maybe, because we tend to usually understand when things are shown in comparison. And the same goes for Anu.
Like all of you have said, she has been conditioned to live in a certain way and old habits are extremely hard to let go. We know she is addicted to toxicity.
But, the scene itself. She couldn't even understand or comprehend what Anuj was trying to say. She started justifying her stance (same happened at the dinner scene too when she came in late). She has been subject to this all her life. She thinks it is her duty to clarify, her duty to put her family first regardless. Changing this is tough and will require a lot of work, patience, care, understanding and unlearning. Seeing them both like that was hurtful.
He repeating himself with all the haqq (was that hot or was that hot???❤️) and his body language said everything. He was visibly angry not only at her but also Baa but her more ofcourse because he expected or hoped she would've been the Anu 2.0 but sadly not (and ofcourse the fact that she is now his - uff still fangirling at this☺️☺️). he was angry even at the bottle breaking scene but the way he chose not to vent it out at her.
Same here too. He was angry, he could've said a lot of things but he chose to use the words/language she understood. The eyes said it all (both of them that is). Her astonishment/realisation and his love were loud and clear.
Sadly, we have either been through this or have seen it happen. I'm sure we have tried to question it or stop it. people like Baa exist and I think that was the message here.
None of the 3 (V, T and Baa) can be redeemed. All Anu needs to do is have boundaries and that'll be the real deal. Inn teeno ko change karna kaafi mushkil hai, isse better yehi hai if she tries to change khud ko because she being in the act cannot see for herself - tabhi we see babuji or samar or now our hero try to put sense into her.
