I think it is a combination of many things.

Yes, the bad few weeks before the confession; poor story writing for Anuj's character (and the butchering); our expectation of how MaAn should have turned out and more importantly, when.

We were all geared up to see the various tracks they came up with - Kavya's return, Mukku's therapy, her past relationships, Anu's progress, the competition factor of the business (had they executed it properly, it would've been a good business story)

All in all, it has been the sketchy writing and this sudden redemption. Gradually/organically reaching this point of confession/proposal would've led to a better outcome I feel.

My 2 cents - I loved the episode. There was something just so calming about the whole proposal thing (probably cus I can relate to the whole "saadgi" thing).

Like you said, Anuj is and will always be the rockstar!!❤️

Although, I thought they could've shown some more seena for aankhon ki thandak!!😆

Hina, you say Anuj is love❤️ how can this be unpopular?🤔

Every fictional work is bound to have all sorts of(love, hate,sad,disappointed... Etc) criticism. This is no exception.

If you take out all the fluff and dime a dozen bloopers, i cannot deny that the story is offbeat. The dialogues are profound, sometimes leaving the viewers thoughtful.

Actually you know, extremely unpopular opinion, I love him in suits like that swag is unmatched and Indian attire too.

But I would absolutely love to see him in either: simple white shirt - rolled sleeves - blue jeans in the mandir (OMG this attire on men makes me go weak in the knees) OR pathani suit (i don't think i have seen his pictures in one, but going by his physique, i'm certain he will be able to carry it off) showing his seena. OMGGGGGGGGG! ❤️ (why is there no aag emoji on web! uff)

Chalo let me try this … for me, this whole confession and proposal doesn’t work if I look at it from a whole storyline perspective. If I am going to pick one episode at a time as see confession or proposal as an independent sequence, I like it. As that gives me happiness n entertainment, I am just looking at like an episodic and keeping the logic out of mind of whether it fits the show storyline or not.

Exactly, I rather watch the confession and proposal as individual just to appreciate their performances and enjoyment because if I watched it as a whole I would never connect with it. Main thing is the story is a king not the lead pair of the show. They haywire the story line.

I’d disagree a bit again, aaj mujhe chappal hi milenge pakka…I think Anu could have done more apart from being shocked, I liked her expressions better in the outdoor scenes…

but I do agree on the earnest proposal, it was just too sincere and one of a kind
