I went and rewatched the episodes again from Monday (YES, I am that MAD!!), and now that I have, I want to tell what i observed!

Our mind is such a powerful element that we feel so much irrespective of the current existence of a situation. Our mind just goes back in time and feels that its happening all over again. Mukku reliving those scenes again, even though right now she is OUT and Safe, is the power of mind!! She still has pent up anger, pent up pain and no wonder she is running still and is scared to put roots. Fear makes one do that. Fear to acknowledge things first and then face them. If at all the writers give us some scenes of doctor visits or visiting a therapist, i think it might not be a cakewalk for Mukku as somewhere this girl also has ego. She has accepted Anu wholeheartedly and has appreciated her today, she does love her BRO too, no doubt, but above all this is her buried anger and pain. The physical pain surfaced with Anu encouraging her to get it out, however her pain is still very much there. I agree with ANu that this trauma can resurface again. Its to be seen whether the writers bring that up again or not for their spice and kaand! Also the day she completely forgives her brother for making choices for her and letting her make choices, even if it turns up wrong, that day she will stop running. Its imp for us to allow people to make choices. That gives them the accountability and even if they are wrong, it becomes their mistake and not someone's else. So should i assume that this time when she makes a choice again, Anuj will let her or as a bro he will again stop her?? Lets wait and watch.

Coming to Anu and V and him being in this whole track - this had a purpose even though I hated it too. I did not want him to see Mukku's outburst as that will give him a scope to manipulate her. He knows that ANuj made choices for her and that had backfired. However, for this whole plot and moreso the conversation that the trio had about abuse in general, who better than V to listen in to all that!!

There was so much power in that scene when Anu was speaking her heart out and the focus was on V. I know everyone is upset about V’s presence, i was too, but whether V acknowledged Anu’s words or not, this moment mattered to Anu. This was the first time a survivor could face her abuser and release her pain. In the presence of that MAN, Anu was able to speak about her pain, and trauma. She suppressed her pain just like any survivor and never addressed it, except that one time when Devika forced her to vent it OUT. I also now understand that her flashback is not only ack what hapened to her was also abuse, but it also gave her that idea to make Mukku vent out. She also must have though that how could she have let it happen to her!! I felt this heavily weighed on her for 25 years. The lack of support system to be able to stand up for herself, to scream, to express!! Imagine the burden of fear when V started to vent his anger on her. This almost made her wonder if yelling could have lead to physical harm? Perhaps V hasn’t acknowledged his evil and sins but this moment is everything… this is the moment that Anu was able to consciously face her abuser and speak her pain. And V was listening!! I am not saying he felt any remorse, not at all!! But he listened!! That was IMP for Anu and somewhere for me too.

V is a totaly egoistic man, we saw that vividly in today's episode. We will start seeing it more in the upcoming episodes. His being in this plot, is also a illusion to him that he has lend his hand, he has helped Anuj!! Which inturn adds fodder to his ego!!

Anu is a very very good person at heart, her saying thanku today actually did not surprise me!! Her aspect of "have moved on" is also very visible. She ofcourse has not forgotten, but she has forgiven atleast what was done to her and has moved on. This habit is prevalent in many people in reality too and we cannot do anything. I have told this before too - we accept it or we dont!!

Now, does V understand what happened to Mukku was wrong???? maybe he has empathized with Anuj and understood the position of a brother but I don’t think he still fully comprehends what he did to Anu was a abuse!! He may recall the memories and state that men need to change themselves but does Vanraj truly understand the extent of his actions? One thing is true, it is our duty to to speak up when sense something is wrong but sadly even in the US many individuals avoid confrontation. We start to rationalize things, but we dont ask questions!! We need to learn to ask the questions, are you okay? do you need help? Perhaps we’re afraid to hear the truth so we turn an ignorant ear. And similar to Kavya, we project our anger instead of trying to understand what’s happening. I am glad Babuji is starting to speak up but part of me is so angered by their empathy towards Kavya while they watched Anu be mentally tortured. Yes, Baa was part of the problem, but could Babuji not have to shown Vanraj the anger he did when the affair surfaced? As Anu said once remaining silent is an injustice in itself. Perhaps they’ve learned from their mistakes, but no one has fully acknowledged the injustices done to Anu for the last 25 years!!! Do the Writers have the guts to show this pls????????????

Mukku finally got the love, the security of family, the blanket where she can go under. However she still has demons to face and fully come out. It was good for Anu to call out Anuj also today as he has to come out of the guilt and move ahead!! Let us see how these three get entangled again with V and the story moves ahead. Today's episode really covered good aspects. Precap - no comments, let things play out!!!

As usual am ignoring MaAn moments...hahahahaha, u guys talk about it better than i do!!!!!

Woow that was beautiful sweetie...❀

Agree, this time if M chooses V. Anuj should let her make the choice and maybe then she will really understand that like her even Anuj could make mistakes. At times, you need to go through worst to really appreciate the best.

Coming to Anu and V and him being in this whole track - this had a purpose even though I hated it too. I did not want him to see Mukku's outburst as that will give him a scope to manipulate her. Somehow, i don't like, as this gives V some power over Anuj, biased but that how i feel.

There was so much power in that scene when Anu was speaking her heart out and the focus was on V. I know everyone is upset about V’s presence, i was too, but whether V acknowledged Anu’s words or not, this moment mattered to Anu. Somehow, I dont get the feel, to me it seems that Anu never acknowledge V as an abuser. Otherwise, even today she would have kept Mukku away from V. And the way she herself thanks him today for party, it doesnt go well with him. Forgive but not forget - so maintain the distance, where is the distance?

Anu somehow, still feels that she deserves that treatment from V as she was not worthy. She believes that V will not show that side to M, which is so delusional. He has done that with Kavya. He can blackmail M for something and exploit her, abuse her. There are ways to abuse, it's not like only BF or Husbands abuse.

V is a totaly egoistic man, we saw that vividly in today's episode. We will start seeing it more in the upcoming episodes. His being in this plot, is also a illusion to him that he has lend his hand, he has helped Anuj!! Which inturn adds fodder to his ego!!

True, but we are yet to see, who will win. Cant deny the fact that there is chance that Anuj will lose his empire to V.

Anu is a very very good person at heart, her saying thanku today actually did not surprise me!! Her aspect of "have moved on" is also very visible. Agree, i do follow, forgive but not forget, as too much negativity only hurt individual in the end. Dragging that baggage slows you down. But this lady and her achcha insaan bhashan, i cant trust her at all.

Would so love to see this, but as you say doubt it will happen. We were hoping for Kavya to teach Baa a lesson but no use. How is Baa handling all household, what happened to her knee pain.

I also doubt, no one has learned from there mistakes, we have seen Toshu already. Wait and watch, Baa and P2 will join soon. Today, she didn't make fuss because she wanted that permission from Anu.

Mukku finally got the love, the security of family, the blanket where she can go under. However she still has demons to face and fully come out. While on one side, i like and believe the rational analysis you gave her.

There is another side, which just hates V and wishes he wasn't there, Anuj would call out V to leave and Anu was more practical.

@bold - that is my gripe. Forgiving and moving on is fine. But please acknowledge it already!! Anu the victim herself should first acknowledge and call out the abuser. Not sugar coat that nothing happened. The first step to solving a problem is to acknowledge there is a problem, only then can one find a solution to it.

She does not have any anger towards him, nothing is pent up inside her, except anger towards abusive men in general is what is appalling to me.

The writers have not done a good job in her healing yet!! They just assumed and let us assume that she has healed and moved on, which is again poor screenplay!!

Understand completely Komal and I agree with those perceptions too!! Anu ka thoughts, her healing has not been brought forward at all in totality and hence we all perceive what we see and what we think. Totally understandable!!

The largest obstacle for a survivor is - what will people think when they come to know!!!. The questions that will come about such as - why did i stay, why did i leavet, why did I accept crap for so log, why did I not take action sooner, why did i not complain? It’s a never ending cycle. However, no one realizes that all a survivor wants to do is really forget, heal, and cope to move ahead in life. They want that space to move ahead without any judgement!! Instead what others do - we sympathize, categorize them as a victim, and often times pity them. However, when the survivor themselves tries to address the trauma or speak up, they’re again targeted; they’re told to forget, to just carry on, why bring up old wounds? Is as if the survivor isn’t allowed to think about anything, to ponder, others have the right to ask but the survivor isn’t allowed to speak up? And when you talk about mental health or medications to aid you in coping, you’re re-victimized and pitied because people start judging the mind as weak!! It’s as if a survivor is placed in this locked cage of trauma and only permitted to cope when others feel they can. And so we become ashamed of ourselves, we suppress the past, and we force ourselves to forget. Sadly coping is seen as a weakness and not a strength. And in the Indian subcontinent, antidepressants have such a burdened stigma associated with them that the ones taking them again feel ashamed. We’re afraid of being labeled and laughed at for again not being able to cope. I want to see whether makers deal with this at all and give a proper ending to this whole issue or was today the end????

Victim never want sympathy or pity but sadly society has this only to give. She need support to pick her pieces, warmth to feel secure, direction to start again, anchor who save them from drowning, who dont judge them. See a survivor never forget, by time passes wounds turn to scars, lessen the pain but wont left her. Victim only become survivor when she make it her strength and this strength is the result who make her help others through her story. A woman who spoke about her buried scars doesnt mean she is weak. She is strong enough to speak about them make others to learn from them, from the mistakes like more aware, more courageous, to make your willpower strong. The people who actually show pity na are those who actually dont have any ounce of courage to even imagine this.

@bold : this is so true.

Overall really well said.. and that's why somehow I didn't like it when V was there.

It should have been M choice with whom she wants to share her secret. But poor girl didn't got that choice either.

I still wonder to what extent the Shah family knows about her now. And after all of this, will she go back and stay in Shah house.

yepp, her secret should have been hers to share, but that choice was taken away from her hands!!

Her equation with V itself first is to watch out for Komal, Shahs tho duur ki baat hai.

the writers have a lot of inconsistency or they leave lot to our assumptions with no firm back plots!! If she behaves close close with V knowing that she just heard Anu hear a hadsaa, i will not know what to think and what to assume!! My positive mind will want to think that she is playing a game, but with no thoughts of hers out in front of us, my assumption can just that be - an assumption that might not play out at all
