Hello everyone,

Though I am new to IF, I have been a silent reader of the beautiful articles of this forum. A big thanks to all the members for their insightful discussions of the episodes... 👏👏I have been an ardent fan of Anupamaa, especially with the unusual storyline and the message that it sends that age and education are not bars for progress ❤️, a rare instance in ITv.

#MaAn has truly mesmerized me. The poise, dignity, grace in both the characters and the way emotions are dealt with maturity is another masterpiece.

Hope to have a great time exploring the symbolisms and nuances of MaAn....

P.S. I am all in for bashing nivasis of Tamashah house (so apt)

Regards

Khushi

Thank you Hinz❣️ I am looking forward to interacting with all of you.

Exactly (I have been away from ITv, owing to extremely toxic and cliché plots). But MaAn brings us freshness and positivity, at the same time being grounded without being OTT... Today's's episode was so so soothing and amazing. Have watched it so many times and can still watch again..😅

Hi Khushi. It's always lovely to see members break their silence :)

The way the CVs have handled Anupama overhearing Anuj's confession has been a masterstroke. It had the potential to go the way of full on OTT drama, but I'm glad they chose to remember the inherent characteristics of both the protagonists. As you said, grace, dignity and maturity. Something which the chandal chaukri of Tamashah house will never even begin to understand.

Such an apt line the writers came up with, "Ek rishtaa jo Benaam hai, badnaam nahi".

Hi Arshi,

Thanks for your warm welcome❣️

You are so right....the creatives have been so grounded and real in handling the situation. It was a perfect mix of shock, denial acceptance and understanding paving the way for a beautiful bond which cannot be defined or named at present....

Some of the things I noted from MaAn convo today:

1. When Anu asks Anuj about his love for her from the past 26 years and Anuj says, "Ha", "Ha....", "Ha..." which was also his answer to Vanraj the night before at Tamashah house. But the stark contrast in his tone and pitch while confessing to Anu spoke volumes of his devotion to her. It was beautiful to see him guilty for revealing his feelings to the Shahs but he made it clear that loving her was never a mistake❤️

2. When Anu turns away from him and explains that she was present at the Shah house the previous night and had overheard everything, along with her conflicted feelings, it was heart wrenching to see Anuj's guilt ridden expressions in the BG. Kudos to GK and Rupali for their phenomenal performance👏

Of course the four idiots at Tamasha house cannot comprehend such deep feelings... What more to expect from such shallow people who cannot see beyond looks and materialistic gains.

When people are so absorbed in themselves it is very difficult for them to see beyond their nose. We have seen kavya go mai, mai... Vanraj go MAINE, Leela go MERA, the Penthouse Nagrik goes MUJHE.

THE SELFLESS unrequited love will never be understand by the Idiots. They are transforming the gosla into a hellhole and sooner or later will lose it all.

The way in which the CVs have handled such a sensitive subject and transformed Ma An into icons of a new paradigm is indeed amazing. Every episode has become a treat this week and Hina has made pista picking the gems in dialogue and the scene s . What is amazing is the way each performer of the ensemble cast has contributed this week making it a wholesome treat to watch.

Welcome and yes the maturity of the show in recent days has made it bearable to watch👏. Otherwise, I usually do not continue watching the show for long on ITV especially with family.🤣

So true....the downfall of the Shahs have started already. As rightly pointed out by Bapuji today that the ghosla is only a makaan now...

Baa and the three idiots seem to have short term memory....they often forget that its Any's life, in which she can do as she pleases...
