The most important lesson - Never Take anyone for granted

I have been meaning to do a post for so many days now actually since the day we all heard the news about Anupama leaving but work has been crazy.

Finally it happened the moment we have all been waiting for Anupama is leaving the house. We all had hoped that she will leave the house after the Bhoomi pujan but no makers did the stupidity and tried to push Vanraj and happy family down audience down the throats but it went back on track. Coming to the episode it was sort of make gimmicky to me. With the whole clapping and Bapuji doing what he did but what worked for me was the part when Anu was leaving home and the backgound that was being played. The most important line being when she bows down infront of temple and the line plays - Kya boya tha aur kya paya soche baghban it hit the cord and it hit hard. The lines also told us what Shah or should I say a very nice name given by people in this forum - "Tama Shah niwas" is about to be. There is nothing left in this house and in sometime it will not even be fit to be called a house. For starter there are no earning member left. In somedays agar Vanraj ka cafe band na ho jaye to bolna. Waise bhi woh kaun sa chal raha hain. Aur Kavya ki to job hain nahin to ghar chalega kaise. Bapuji ki pension se. Kinjal will be out in the next few days. Likh lo. Toshu ko wapis aana hain to aa jaye but with Kinjal not there I am pretty sure Rakhi Dave is not going to tolerate Toshu. And thats not even the main concern who will feed all these man child and huge maintainence ladies - their jhulas and their expensive nail paints.

But these mad people are still in shock that she left. Are you kidding me???? After everything you did today you are actually surprised that how come she left. They are not able to grasp this situation how will you grasp what is about to come to you next. Anupama ke jane se kisko koi farak nahin padega - you see farak padne layak ya affected hone layak bhi tum logo ki situation hogi kya.

Anupama made that house house you idiots.She made it with her patience her love and her hard work. Everything in that house is actually Anupama. It was her prayers and dedication that has brought this house to what it is today. And you are saying that you will remove her name - how delusional can you get????

Baa, Vanraj and Toshi very nicely thought that she is anupama its not like she is going anywhere to jo bolna hain bolte raho jo karna hain karte raho. Anupama thodi na kahi ja rahin hain. And then everything changed. The name calling and the accusations that Baa made for Anu how can she expect any woman to stay and respect her. SHe could not hear one word from her friends and she is ready to give the complete kabootal to Anu and expects that she will hear silently. What did they all expect that even after all this she will get scared and leave the job and Anuj. Are they demented????

That is what brings me to the main reason to writing this post. I know the makers are trying to pass on the message that woman should be strong and how they can stand on their own but I never think that message came across well. It did when the whole affair come out and I was like yes but I think the one lesson that you will learn from this show is that never ever for a second take someone for granted. In todays time there are no free lunches if you get someone who is doing you a favour or doing something for you without asking even if giving a glass of water to help you respect them and return it with full interest. Because we all think that we will always have that gesture but we will not. The Shahs never respected Anupama took for granted everything that she did for them thinking this is not as important ki yeh to uska kaam hain uska farz hain but no one does that literally no one does so much for you and asks nothing in return. Even if they don't ask that doesn't mean they dont need it. Put yourself in the shoes of that person once and think what should be done.

Very well expressed. How the demented idiots think after spewing such mean allegations. How ladla just cannot fathom that a man can treat a woman with respect without expecting anything in return.

A woman who in his view was worthless is being treated with respect and every little desires and suggestions are valued and acted upon.

It proves he made wrong choices and wants to reclaim rights that he was never wrong and she was not worth anything.

Very well articulated thoughts. There has been a complete and utter lack of respect for Anupama in that house. Everything she did was, as you said, her duty to do so in their eyes. Their shock at her leaving tells you just how deeply embedded was their view of her as a mere automaton.

that baa telling bina ek assun bahaye i mean havent she seen her face and her it was visible as if something has died inside anupama and she wanted to see tears leaving that shit place

mama ji was correct it will become bazaar after she has left .

vanraj is in dillution she loves her family jinhe ghosle se pyaar hota hain woh udhaan nahi bhar paate

he though his daily acusitions will make anupama fed up and she will leave the partnership looser was blown away when she chooses herself her self-respect rather than anything else

toshu i better dont say anything he is a loosrer who is complete failure carrier wise and husband man son wise everything

Anupama was taken for granted all her life, the entire family deprived her of respect and belittled her on every account. Now that she's left, their atrocities though they will deny will come haunting.

Anu chose respect. took her long but she's there now

I have to say - I stared in disbelief and started laughing when they said “fights always happen in this house - how did she just up and leave?!” Like really!? R e a l l y ?!!!! If they actually cared to listen to Anu then they would have heard her clearly say that she absorbed more than she should’ve and now it’s too much. She’s done. They crossed a line one too many times.

I think they should’ve expected it when she so eloquently said the day of the competition that society didn’t leave Sita alone and questioned her character .. if it could happen to Sita then what chance does Anupama have? The water was boiling then, precariously skirting the edges for weeks, and it finally just split over.
