I live in ahmedabad! I have never seen hoardings for Novotel, Courtyards by Marriott, Radisson blu, Taj hoardings or advertisements on bus/auto etc for 5 star !

Lot of unrealistic logic is being provided to show Anupama can do this. The point is, the show is not a class in, marketing or business. Given Anuj is shown as a very successful, high class, rich businessman, they had to bring in something of a five star restaurant to suit his stature. Then his take on making a social impact and thus making Anu the face of the project is a good business decision. Other all stuff like going to outskirts to see factory (for what? Are the going to cook and sell food or make a restaurant in a hotel?), marketing discussion is to prove that great ideas do not need formal education (has been proved by many successful drop outs for elite schools), and to create a good vs bad conflict (soap Operaish) to add drama. Cos if you look at the other side, even kavya who needs the job, begged for it, is an MBA in marketing that too would never do what she did in this episode if she was a little less insane.

But one thing I do feel that others have pointed out here too.. They should have shown that Anu realizes the importance of education and they should have started her learning track (ala English Vinglish style what with the Sridevi get up and style ;-)) Also CVs seems to rush through fun tracks. They could have focused more on the initial struggles of opening a dance school rather than showing everything running smoothly. They could have dragged kavya at the office a bit as it would have created some fun drama. They also show lot of heated showdowns between the Shahs and Anu with zero outcome. Instead they could have taken it slowly where the baa ka taanas and Vs anger is subdued and slowly boils to a point of no return. Specially now that Any plans to leave the house, I wonder what has changed? They always gave her same type of taana toh ab kya hua for her to take that step? Instead slow taana, anu managing to answer back slowly, then the taunts increase and she starts ignoring them like she did in promo, and then a blast of anger explosion and then she leaves the house.

Sometimes Kavya makes sense and sometimes it's just vitriol. However its always delivered in the most comical & nonsensical way.

Yes I do agree...just like Kinjal,a new grad, got such a high ranking job same with Anu. To make Anu & Anuj shine writers are also trolling the audience and it's intelligence

Tbh I feel like the writers don't know the ABCSs of business & careers. Google is free man...do some research writers

Never once in the scene anupamaa degraded Kavya's online promotion idea . She just politey put her pov of print media idea and anuj asked kavya to incorporate it along with her online promotion idea. Nowhere they both dismissed so called MBA graduate kavya's idea.

And what anupamaa said abt not many knowing how to handle smartphone was 100% truth. I personally know even many middle aged educated PhD holders who struggle with smartphones and use it only for the purpose of speaking and listening to music.

I am sorry but i cannot accept that kavya said even one thing right bcoz all she did was behave like a dumbest woman forgetting professional ethics.

But is their target audience middle aged educated PhD holders? And my dad is a high school drop out and he has 3 smartphones which he uses for work and entertainment. PhD holders would have no trouble managing or using smartphones from the boomers or middle aged category. Maybe it's the illiterate lot from 70 to 80 group that struggle with smart gadgets. But I don't think the business is targetting them, therefore it makes no sense to use offline promotions such as hoardings.

Anupama did not want to put down kavya idea but anupama want to say khuch rich people honge jinhe smart phone use karne mein interest na ho that is why anupama gave idea of offline market ki jin logon ko agar rich hi ho agar unhe internet surf mein interest nahi woh kam se kam new paper ya Magazine to dekh lenge

Yes but rich and high end 5 star hotels are not interested in targeting the middle class who only visit them once in a blue moon they will care about frequent rich customers and these people most of the time are well versed with their phones unless you are talking about a 70 or 80 year old grandmother who belongs to such a family, but then again I doubt they would be targeted either.

Almost every business nowadays is managed and handled via a smartphone, only a failing one would be stuck to using the old phone. So I doubt those people who use such phones because they don't know how to use a smartphone would be considered rich.

Newspapers are going digital because printed copies are no longer selling that much as not many people read it, plus it's a waste of paper, and people prefer reading news online excepts foe grandma's and grandpa's.

I got very irritated in the very 1st scene too when Anu is talking to Nandu - "if baa rejects to have breakfast, unhe zabardasti khila dena!" What? is baa a 2 yr old fussy eater who needs pampering and feeding?

On day one of new job position, without knowing the phase of the project, head or tail of anything who runs into to their boss with ideas to present?!

She seemed okay initally when Anuj asked her to incorporate Anu's ideas. But Anupama had to say "soori" kavya. That was rubbing salt on her injury. Then FOMO of their video conf call.... all of this snowballed into her fuming.

But, that's no justification that she yelled back at Anuj, her boss! She wouldn't stop at all and continued to damage and burn all bridges forever.
