Anuj Kapadia, a memory and the banner

Hi everyone!

I'm back to the Anupama Forum after moooooonths, for obvious reasons (the wonder that is Anuj Kapadiya). Had someone told me 6 months ago that Gaurav Khanna is going to play Anuj, I would've never ever believed them. But, he's PERFECTION. I don't even know how to say it. He just...fits, doesn't he? Two weeks into his entry, and I've forgotten what the show was like before him. He's everything I wanted Anuj to be, and so much more. Below is a tiny memory from 5 months ago (I think it was my last post before I stopped watching the show for a solid 3-4 months). I'd hoped that we get a shayar-artist type of guy, and what are the chances! Anuj turned out to be a shayar with an artistic streak!

Also, a tiny request, can somebody add Anuj boi to the banner? Our real male lead is here, y'all!

Welcome back? though I’m new to the forum I just love how you’ve credited Gaurav for bringing Anuj to life and adding so much flavour to the character.

The shayar bit was well predicted and the way Anuj is becoming a part of our lives is amazing.

It's True Now I watch Anupma for only Anuj and Anu and Now I want to see both as Couple soon

The elan with which Gaurav has brought life to the character of Anuj is incredible. I don't think all the names doing the rounds would have been able to carry off the role so well. The smile, the way he bites his tongue, the twinkle in his eyes, the blush, the way he recites his verses, the kind soul that he depicts all seem to make us crave for more screen space . Especially after the toxicity of Vanya.

This boy-ish charm that he has, I don't think actual boys also have it!😂😂Biting his tongue, putting his hand on the back of his head in modesty, adjusting his spectacles from time to time, all of this is just MUAH!

I can't believe I ever thought Ronit Roy or Ram Kapoor could play this role. Their personalities would've been too larger than life for a character as humble and grounded as Anuj.

As I mentioned earlier this is the second Soap I'm watching maybe from episode hundred. So I'm seeing him for the first time and when the other names were being discussed I googled the actors.

Next to nitish bharathwaj I loved as krishna when I was a child I liked Karan patel as he essayed Raman Bhalla now I'm really a fan of the way Anuj is essayed by the real life GK.

When I was 5-6 years old, he had a show with Yami Gautam. Our maid didi loved watching it so we were forced to watch it because of her, but everyone started loving it eventually. The way everyone gushed at his acting, and his pair with Yami, that's something I still haven't forgotten. I remember this tiny glimpse of that show, where he kept trying to guess Yami's name. Ah they were so cute!
