I love Gaurav khanna as an actor.., yes he does look younger than anupama... I guess that’s the point makers trying to show... women’s body change a lot after pregnancy... if she doesn’t take care herself, she started to look older... anupama had very stressful life, while Anuj kapadia might not have these many problems...

I agree that anupama needs make over... I mean in sarabhai vs. sarabhai take 2, she looked so young...

What's the problem if she looks older also ? Even in real life we see such cases and sometimes men look older than their partner also. Sometimes it's god gifted and sometimes people maintain and here makers wanted this . They have selected Gaurav with a reason. They want to show difference between vanraj and Anuj .Makers clearly showed it in promo itself. Vanraj always treated Anupama as pau ki jooti and here Anuj is holding her sandals . He introduced himself as just classmate. Anuj , Anu are of same age but women body changes when compared to men. They don't have to go through hormonal changes like lady does and here Anupama have never given importance to herself. She was bought up in such way and also married to such family and anu delivered 3 kids within she turn 25 . May be Anuj worked hard for building his empire and wanted to look good and shine in business world and maintained himself and Anupama had many issues like child birth , anxiety , stress ,being treated badly etc etc. She was not mentally strong back then like Anuj is. She is emotional fool even now.

Here makers want to show how Anuj was smitten by Anu back then and even now he is and will admire here now even more with this look of hers also. makers want vanraj also to have major complex in every matter 🤣 Vanraj always had guroor ,arrogance he is good looking , handsome and maintained himself but now Anuj will give him major complex and when he will come to know Anuj still feels for Anu it will be worth watching🤣 it's a tight slap to men like vanraj who treat ,judge partners by their education, looks even after so many years and they forget why their partners have been so ? It's coz she was busy grooming her hubby , looking after his children, family etc . Even in other version original show Anuj looks younger than anu and same is followed here. If they had selected Ronit or Ram Kapoor then it would have been boring. This jodi looks unique and have message also. That's how love , marriage should be . Just because one of the partner is looking sick ,old does not mean we leave and go , criticise them or have affair . If their is love ,respect between two ppl then they will stick to each other in any circumstances and however they look.

I also agree partners have to look good if not for themselves but for sake of their spouse who may be interested in all this things and if they encourage and support also you in this process then one should try but here Anupama was just criticised by all then where and how will she understand ? May be after Anuj comes to her life and after getting married she will understand all this. Anu looks older because of that styling. Anuj, on the other hand is well groomed and dressed nicely. Anu can match him with a wardrobe and hairstyle change. They are unnecessarily aging Anu. I have seen women in their 40s and 50s looking much younger with right styling. That's what Anu needs now. Rupali looks much younger in her offscreen pics.
