Why disrespectful attitude towards EDUCATION in this show?

Ms. Writer always disrespects the value of education in the show just to glorify some characters but she should not forget that if educated people can act senseless then her uneducated lead is also senseless on so many grounds.

I can see they tried to show education is not everything in the form of Rakhi, Kavya , Toshu and vanraj type people but must say uneducated person can also act senseless and anupama is prime example of senseless woman .

If writers has ability show educated senseless people in the show then must say on the name of faltu ka mamta, I am seeing uneducated senseless woman with low self esteem on screen in the same show.

Kya gaye guzre bacche hai anupama ke , we can see educated father and uneducated mother both have same level of no ability to deal with their 2 bratty children.

They glorified samar‘s decision to leave education mid way for hobby with educated vanraj’s words “nachaniya “ for his own son. Nachaniya word is definitely cheap but this doesn’t make Samar’s disrespectful attitude towards education right.

I am not liking the way they are disrespectful for the value of education and busy portraying that society is full of educated senseless people . This is PARTIAL reality and other partial reality is uneducated people can also act in senseless ways and can make their own life miserable due to low self esteem and uneducated background.

My post is definitely not belongs to villains of this show. I am openly pointing out the disrespect attitude for education in this show.

In process of showing reality of some educated class , they are disrespectful towards “Education “ word.

In process to glorify uneducated lead, they are hell bent to disrespect value of “Education “ by constantly showing how educated people can be worst and senseless and how uneducated people can be true all the time.

Please find some other way to glorify the lead and stop showing disrespectful attitude for “Education “ now and then.

You are really expecting too much from ITV writers. In ITV shows they will show educated people senseless in order to glorify FL. Even if FL had been educated they will reduce her to dumb senseless fool.

In truth being sensible does not depend on educated or non educated but depends on a person himself/herself. What ITV shows forgets is to keep a balance in reel and reality.

Just like you, I really value my education because it has given me joy of being independent, living my life on my terms and has allowed me to take my own decisions.

Yesterday I was watching my one of favourite show diya aur baati hum on hotstar. While watching that show and sandhya’s 3 month training program to become IPS officer, I realised how beautifully they have shown value of “Education “ to the society and seeing bhabho , I realised how much conservative uneducated people can also value “Education “.

I was never able to like disrespectful attitude towards “Education “ in this show. Since day 1 I had a feeling why it’s mandatory to portray all the educated characters literally dumb, senseless , extreme selfish and extreme negative?? Just to prove that all the educated people are not sane , they started to degrade value of “Education “ at every singe step.

As you said they can show evolution of anupama to lesser mahan more sensible mother , anupama’s civil relations with toshu and pakhi etc.

In place of showing evil Kavya, they can show her with just grey shades without portraying her dumb and evil.

We can get back old rakhi Dave who was soft with shahs on time of crisis but never shy away to put her point forward in place of new crass rakhi Dave.

They can show sensible pakhi like they are already showing in their marathi version in place of out and out black hearted pakhi.

Just to show uneducated lead is always right , they are hell bent to show there is no value of “Education “ and every educated character is pure evil.

If there is a mass of educated people can be dumb , selfish, crass , senseless then there is a mass of uneducated senseless dumb people too and I feel this show’s lead is one of those uneducated people who has low self esteem and carries zero sense with zero self respect.

I never liked the way they had glorified anupama’s support when Samar wanted to leave education to pursue hobby.

Ms. writer can glorify anupama’s character without being disrespectful towards “Education “ and without making every educated character out and out evil.

I get it mother's do care about their children even if they don't but it wasn't the case in today's dance competition and practice for this dance competition Anupama was acting like her daughter was going to perform for miss universe/Olympics or was about to go on मिल्टिरे permission it wasn't that important that she was so much worried and sometimes parents due to other responsibilities do miss annual function it's not that much big deal that she was crying like psycho also Kavya is vile women but anyday a job interview is more important than any dance competition. Her cheating with Vanraj was wrong but most of the time she is berated because she isn't doormat of V and his family, takes stand for herself voice out her difference of opinion

Show on similar theme patiala bebs initially showed all this beautifully also other women was not out and out evil it was circumstancial and here Kavya and V both are equally wrong more V but he is accepted fully after all mistake misbehave

Look at this show man! Not just 1 but 95% of all educated characters are out and out evil in this show 😲😳😳

To prove the point that educated person can be crass/dumb , they can show 1 character like that but 95% educated characters of this show are out and out evil!! I have no words 😶

@ bold : I do agree with you , sometimes parents due to other responsibilities can miss such annual functions and I had my school friends whose both parents were not able to attend annual days because of other responsibilities. Even my father gave it a miss several times because of his work commitments.

Anupama’s faltu ki mamta is too much to tolerate. She needs to attend meditation sessions because anupama feels extremely overwhelming in every next situation. She badly needs to attend meditation/yoga sessions to calm her nerves.

Patiala babes first half till the love story starts is pretty good and decent. The portrayal of the second women again and how the child does understand it's not really the second wife fault and does show some empathy.

Samar is a character I have not talked about much since my view is pretty similar to URS and I have had arguments in this with bff and fam on the same for someone in a similar situation.

I believe that atleast grad education is necessary no matter what u want to pursue since it is a fall back options and will never go waste.

I am very conservative when it comes to money since I have come up hard way. I feel only once we are capable of completing our basic needs we should worry about others. Of course many many disagree with this opinion incl most of my fam and friends

Yup it's not an ounch enough funny. Just not this show I think all Indian shows in general are pretty much like this. For this show it is pretty much like Anu has to be always right, so they keep finding ways to make it possible.

Way too much expectations from women or I say perfect women. Where a educated working woman is easily blamed for not properly taking care of her family or kids. One thing that always erks me is 70~90 percent viewers are women. And they countiue to sell this BS quite successfully.

Perfect FL - should be always greatful to her family, should always be prioritising everything else above herself and her career, should cook like 5 star hotel chef. Wear proper traditional clothes. And who is always ready to be a doormat and are scared of her in-laws!

person who can stand for herself = a person who can love herself =selfish ITV villainess

there are few good shows that raises beyond this BS. It's just very general view especially with starplus, colors - the main stream channels.
