IMO, Anupama doesnt need a love interest, at least not just yet. To stop this Raki-Paki rinse repeat cycle, the story can be around how she builds a name for herself/business in a male dominated society by living alone. Stop the motherhood drama, overly caring for bapuji etc etc... and get a life by moving on literally & figuratively!

After she gets a foot hold, maybe they can think of developing a love story. My 2 cents... 😊

Dr A is good as friend but other it was zero chemistry as couple. Agar anupama ka love interest nahi ayega toh humko rakhi/pakhi repeat garbage everyday dekhna padega because Ms. writer sasti komolikas par he show chala rahi hai.

Did you see bapuji took charge of the situation in place of pakhi's parents .It's shameful moment for them that as a parents they have no capability to put their child on place. I would have loved the episode if the step was taken by anupama in place of bapuji.

do you think these parents will understand it ,from my side its zero for their realisation they are soooo dumb.

Earlier (when the show was mostly good) I was actually happy they weren't bringing in a new male lead/love interest for Anu too early, and giving time for more character development, building her own career, etc. ...

But now I feel showing her move out and become PG in new ML's house straight after divorce or something like in certain other shows (though not ideal, as I would have preferred to see more of Anu's independent journey before meeting and falling for a new man) it would have been SO much better than this current chidiyaghar situation.

But honestly the direction they are taking the whole show right now, and Anu's character in particular, it would actually be pretty unreal if they showed any decent, sorted out guy falling for a woman like Anu who still lives with her ex playing dosti dosti and all 🤢

Like what man would want a woman who's clearly still so devoted to another guy?

Yes these days it almost feels like they are saying good mothers are only those who behave with their kids how Anu does (which is probably less than 1 in 10 realistically 😆), and all normal mothers who get inevitably get angry, reprimand kids sometimes aren't good enough.

Because nowhere have I seen any real mother who would behave like this in this situation (or any teen daughter who behaves like Pankhi for that matter ) 🤓.

See it is as simple as this, if you don't like how the show is going or what they are showing, stop watching it. No one is forcing anyone to watch the show. Don't like the story, switch to the show whose story you like. Why to waste time on show is which you are not enjoying then Better to stop watching and stay in peace.

We audiences have invested our time to this show since day 1. Why should we give up on the show? Even though we don’t like current story line, it is we audience’s right to oppose it, can do ranting for it and can argue with it.

I am not the kind of person who can easily give up on something on which I have invested my time.

It’s definitely not simple and it’s audiences right to demand better in place of rakhi/Pakhi crap because audiences has also invested themselves since day 1 and they earned good TRP because of that now it’s time they should also keep today’s viewers in the mind in place of just writing story for orthodox regressive people.

I for example am invested in this story ..since it normalized divorce funnily to big part of my fam . This forum is to discuss what we feel can be improved and the grouse we have with it. I do take breaks often and keep in loop with WU since I have very limited patience with certain story lines and watching it makes me mad

I totally agree with you this forum is to discuss what we feel can be improved and the grouse we have with it.

Lol this is not the first time . I have been part of several forums and silsila was my favourite forum and in all those forums we used to criticise bogus story lines.

If you don’t like, stop watching the show is definitely not solution.

I am also taking breaks but of course we have invested our time since day 1 so why to give up on the show for new regressive story line?!

Lol we will continue to oppose hypocrisy of anupama and orthodox regressive story line on the India forums 😆
