Income tax itself allows you not to file it if no taxable income. Also when u are minor, even if have income, that is to be considered as a part of your parents income. But I would have loved if they showed how much important it is to file a return. People are evading tax and the tax burden is on the people who are paying tax. Would have loved if they highlighted the point. In other serials, tax word is also hardly heard.

They showed that day, Anu asking money to be transferred as she has to pay tax from this year, so she doesn't want to accept cash. Thats is also a good thing to show.
