Waise maintainace aise nahi milti maintainace decide hone se pehle calculation lagaya jaata hai proof dena padta ki itni salary aa rahi hai, proof dena hota hai whether wife is working or not.if wife is working then working wife ko salary slip ka proof dena hota hai how much wife is qualify ,affidavit lagana hota hai ki aapki itni .in income hai, in sub aadhaar pe hi maintaince decide hoti hai and maintaince long procedure aur isko apply hone mein bhi bahut mahine bhi lag sakte hain

Just like other case maintainace also decide by proof and fact like one has to give salary slip detail etc

There is one in real life who is running to family court for maintainace since 12 year and still not got maintainace

Ek tarah se anupamaa ne sahi decision liya hai kyonki shayad use pata hai family court mein cheeje karana itna asaan nahin jitna samjhi jaati hai

Kabhi client ke lawyer hi doosri opponent party se hand join kar lete hain. Kabhi khuch lawyer paise lekar koi kaam nahin karte hain . Aisi bahut si bahut si baaton ki wajah se anupamaa ne demand nahin

Woh to filmon mein dekh kar lagta hai court mein itni aasaani se cheezein ho jaati hain but real life mein family court ki haalat bahut kharaab hai

I would have preferred if she did but in this case I can see why she's saying no...

I mean she has two jobs herself, and has two grown sons and an educated DIL who can all get decent jobs soon enough...

Plus she's probably assuming that Vanraj will continue sending extra money for his kids and parents if the need/want it as he has been doing all these days...

What bothered me more was the fact that Anu doesn't want to mention Vee's cheating, like what is the point of that? The Shah family's whole neighbourhood, all their relatives, kid's friends, Vee's work colleagues all know about the affair anyway... And those who somehow don't will eventually come to know what was going on when he marries Kavya immediately after the divorce!

But either way I'm really happy with most of the recent developments so far, so I'll let it be haha

I think for Pakhi and Vans parents Anu should have said yes to alimony since neither of them can work

As for her other 2 useless kids, they need to get jobs. One is married and feeding him and his wife from his mothers pocket

That’s pretty sad and I’m surprised Kinjal hasn’t called him out on that

500% yes! She has worked at keeping her family together and being a good wife, mother and daughter-in-law for 25 years; this is the least she deserves. He can’t be trusted on top of that. She should have asked for her right to alimony.

Agree with you, Anupama should have demanded alimony AND requested divorce on the grounds of infidelity. Who is going to go read her divorce papers in the community? She said she didn’t want to drag the family through shame. It would have been a slap on the faces of Vanraj and Kavya to be called upon in court for their extra marital affair.
Alimony is her right - Anupama slaved away at home so that Vanraj could focus on work and rise professionally. And as mentioned in the other posts, she has a large family to take care of and provide for - I don’t have much hopes on either Toshu or even Kinjal now.
P.S: I hope Pakhi comes back home soon with her tail tucked between her legs and her head hanging in shame with an apology on her lips for her mom.

I think Van is about to get a harsh dose of reality when he goes Job hunting and realizes how old he is. He will probably begin losing out to jobs to those half his age
