Alimony - should she have said yes

I respect Anupamas decision to say no to alimony but was it the right decision ?

Anupama is raising her lazy grown kids, is responsible for her useless MIL and sweet but ill FIL ...oh yeah there’s maama ji also who I don’t know what he does

Can she support the whole house ? Van can retaliate and at some point refuse to pay for anything ?

He is a nasty petty man so....

She already got the whole house, may be that is why she doesnt want.

iam happy she said no for Alimony because vanraj ke thousand dana free milte roz usske saath izzat ki doo roti anupama hud kama sakte han which is thousand time satisfier then ravanraj money

May be you are right .. it’s really great to get the entire house 🏡

She still trusts Vanraj that he will pay for his parents' and kids' expenses at his own free will and hence didn't as for it. But she will eventually take drastic measures too.

Agree with you, Anupama should have demanded alimony AND requested divorce on the grounds of infidelity. Who is going to go read her divorce papers in the community? She said she didn’t want to drag the family through shame. It would have been a slap on the faces of Vanraj and Kavya to be called upon in court for their extra marital affair.
Alimony is her right - Anupama slaved away at home so that Vanraj could focus on work and rise professionally. And as mentioned in the other posts, she has a large family to take care of and provide for - I don’t have much hopes on either Toshu or even Kinjal now.
P.S: I hope Pakhi comes back home soon with her tail tucked between her legs and her head hanging in shame with an apology on her lips for her mom.

Anupamaa has told that if i would have not working i would have sure ask for alimony

Since she night be earning at least 30000 online dancing class and teaching class ko milakar then anupamaa might have thought for me single alone 30000 is enough lavish life style to nahin ho paayega in just 30000 but for me basic need to poori ho jaayegi and for anupamaa basic need is important not lavish style

And for children anupamaa told that vanraj already giving money to children for basic as well for lavish expendture

However according to india law 33 percent for maintainace is decide that is 27 percent of husband income for wife and 5 percent for children till children become 25

Means according to law wife maintainace should be total 27 percent for wife . Even if wife earning but maintainace for wife should be 27 percent over all husband ki earning aur wife ki earning ko milakar

Suppose wife is getting rs 20000 by her own earning and if husband is earning 1 lakh per month so husband Has to still give 7 percent percent to his wife as maintainace to cover 27 percent

However husband khud maintainace nahin deta woh to automatically deduct hoke wife ke seperate account mein jaati hai

If court want then court can still give order to salary department to give 27 percent to wife as maintainace inspite of wife not demanding any maintainace and 27 percent will automatically come into wife account but i think court will respect wife decision

However in real life i have seen that in real life mein bhi khuch wife maintainace nahi maangti hai no matter how husband badly treat his wife

Instead in real life some wife said ki woh bechara kya de paayega uski salary to itni kum hai

Jaisa kul anupamaa aur vakeel ke beech discussion dikhaya hai waise hi discussion real life mein bhi hota hai

I watched the episode yesterday since she throws divorce papers on his face. But this show is filled with disappointments. She should have raised she was mentally tortured by her family in a way especially husband... Cheating is no more a secret affair it's already known... Anupama is shown to be very weak... Exactly opposite of what was intended for her...

Yes... Ho khade apne pair par... But do something for yourself woman... Not for the most dramatic family... 🤢
