Update for Tuesday, May 31, 2011 - Episode 283:
RR gives the happy news about Shree's return to Prem, whom he meets on the way back, and then to his family. Palli is surprised that she went to that place so many times but didn't see her. RR and Palli thank Karthi for circulating Shree's photo. Everyone is excited at RR's place, with Karthi and Priya konjuyfying and playing. Palli's mother advises her to be careful and not hurt Shree again. Palli wants to get mannippu from Shree, but RR tells her to wait till Karthi talks to Shree first. Palli wants to tell Anu's MIL this news first and says she will go with Karthi to tell Paati. RR tries to stop her from going, but will Palli listen? She thinks Paati will be so happy when she hears this good news, esp the part about RR bringing her back. RR wears his usual guilty expression. Paati, please, please, tell Palli that she is the second wife, that is why she is not welcome at Paati's house. Save us from this drrraaaggg!
Prem goes home to tell his parents. Prem's father wants to meet her and ask for mannippu, Prem suggests they go after a couple of days, but he wants to go immediately. He also wants Prem and his wife for moral support, but Prem says he is not needed. He also tried to break up Shree and Karthi while pretending to be her well wisher, so he thinks she may not forgive him. Dad says he has to meet her sooner or later, why not do it today itself.
The Inspector goes to Mr. Shrinivasan's house and he wants to meet Shree (as usual in these serials, the police are the last to find out anything!). Prem and his parents also arrive right then, and P's father is looking guilty as sin. Shree comes there, and the Inspector says he has to ask her some questions like Who kidnapped her? She says it was Prem's father and two people from his group helped her to escape and she was staying at a women's shelter. The Inspector asks if P's father tortured her, but she says it was mental abuse when he asked her to marry Prem and physical when he locked her up in a room, but nothing else. The Inspector asks her to give a written statement so that they can take action against Sivaraman legally. Sivaraman is looking nervous.

Wednesday 1st June 2011 Episode - 284
The inspector lists out the criminal acts done by Sivaraman, wants Shreenidhi to give a written complaint to enable further action. Mahatma Shreenidhi doesnt want any action to be taken against Sivaraman, is forgiven. Inspector re-confirms with Shreenidhi, pasikku thirudinaalum thiruttuthaan he tries. Anupallavila no kutravaaLis to be punished - so he is allowed to go scot free. Inspector wants Shreenidhi to come to the police station and give a written petition. Shrinivasan asks if it is necessary, ofcourse, otherwise tomorrow some crackpot will tell that the inspector got bribed and let go a criminal. Inspector warns Sivaraman that he was lucky this time around, ladyluck would not smile on him all the time. Sivaraman family asks sorry.
Shreenidhi forgives Mrs & Mr Sivaraman. Prem too apologises. But is not forgiven by Shreenidhi. Gayathri asks why not Prem when he was the one who tried to save you, when the kidnapper father has been forgiven. No connection between this and that. He has done something unpardonable. Prem had been a nambikkai dhrogi, she can never forgive a nambikkai dhrogi (appo RR Anukku senjadhu enna - thyagam aa??) Although he knew Karthik & Shreenidhi were in love, he too loved Shreenidhi, acted as if helping her and have done innumnerable things to create a rift between them. Karthik had warned her, but she did not pay heed to any of his warnings. Prem accepts all his faults, but he did change his mind after he got to know the depth of their love. Says sorry. Not in this jenmam, she goes to her room. Shrinivasan, Shreenath and Gayathri tell him not to feel bad for her words. Prem says whatever Shreenidhi said is true, he needs that punishment, will wait for the day she would forgive him.
Gayathri calls paatti. Shrinivasan keeps guard to warn her if Shreenidhi comes. Paatti asks about her well being. Doing very well says Gayathri and the smart paatti finds out that Shreenidhi is back home. Gayathri wonders how paatti found out. Paatti says she could from Gayathri's answer for Shreenidhi is her all. Gayathri feels that it is not permanent and cries. Shrinivasan asks her not to cry. Paatti consoles, saying she has experienced it too. Must think about Meenakshi too, so the truth must be out. Paatti, Balu and Meenakshi are invited the next day. Shreenidhi arrives, the call is disconnected after re-inviting paatti and company.
Gayathri wants to cook special items. Shreenidhi asks her if it is because she is back. Gayathri's mind voice answers - because she is going to leave soon. Dont ask anything she says and leaves for the kitchen wiping her tears. Shreenidhi asks Shreenivasan what happened - he tries to say because Shreenidhi wouldnt have had proper food - Shreenidhi wants to know the reason for mummy's tears - that is anandha kaNNeer because she is going to cook for Shreenidhi - and he leaves. (ellaarum engappan kudharukuLLa illanu telling) Shreenidhi thinking.
Paatti too is thinking. Balu & Meenakshi come and ask why she is sitting there on the verandah. They are told of Shreenidhi's arrival. Gayathri just called. Both are very happy. Thinking paatti walks into the house followed by the duo. Balu feels paatti is not happy. Paatti is very happy for Shreenidhi being found, but Gayathri's situation is very sad. Balu asks if Gayathri said anything else like not wanting to leave Shreenidhi, paatti negates. They are all invited for lunch to Shrinivasan's the next day, Shreenidhi will be told the truth. A car honks.
Paatti comes near the door to see Karthik & Palli alight. Karthik is all smiles. Paatti unhappy seeing Palli, calls for Balu & Meenakshi, someone has come to see them, talk & send them and come inside she tells. Palli stops Paatti, came to see her. Paatti has already told her she does not want to see her. Palli says she has a happy news - Paatti asks if Palli is carrying a happy news for paatti - if paatti pronounces what would make her happy, Palli will be crestfallen. Balu tries calming paatti, wants Palli to be invited in, adhudhaan manushathanam. Paatti feels manushathanam is only for humans not for lizards.
Karthik stops Paatti, tells that his father was the one who found Shreenidhi, convinced her and brought her back. Palli wanted to share this news with paatti first, but he didnt expect such behaviour from paatti. Palli hushes Karthik, if paatti's anger is not because of Shreenidhi matter, then there must be some other reason behind her anger towards Palli. Balu & Meenakshi are SBTs. Palli continues, in some jenmam must have split Patti's family. Paatti's mind voice tells her family was split because of Palli in this jenmam.

thursday- Episode 285
Palli is wondering and asking Patti what is the reason for Patti's hatred towards her (Why cant people accept everyone doesnt have to like them?). Meenakshi and Balu tell her to go away politely and never come back to Patti's house again with a periya kumbidu. (I felt the same way). Karthi leads a tearful Palli away, with an angry Patti glaring at her.
Prem's house- Prem not eating the whole day, tells his parents he is very affected by Shree's anger and the fact that she wont forgive Prem. Prem feels guilty for all his wrongdoings, including telling his father about his love to Shree which resulted in her kidnapping.
Prem's father says Shree even forgave him so Prem will be forgiven too...(wondering how a criminal acitivity can be just "forgiven" and no action is taken against Prem's father? Can you imagine if someone tries to murder another person and that person forgives the attempted murderer and will all charges be dropped? Strange legal system!). Prem's parents try to talk him into feeling less guilty about what happened.
Gopi standing on the road. 2 bad guys are talking nearby and one of them says Gopi is a good person to recruit for their ill conceived business venture. They approach Gopi and apparently they are all old buddies. Gopi says he has been looking for them for a while since they left for Mumbai. The friend (name is Kumaresan) says his friend helped him to become successful in Mumbai. Gopi wants to be part of their business in chennai. The 2 men talk about doubling the money for any investor- they give double the returns to anyone who invests, by passing off counterfeit money. They ask Gopi for 1 lakh as a start if he wants to be part of this business. The men ask Gopi to ask his son in law for 1 lakh since he is fairly successful. Gopi says he will get the money ready in 2 days. Gopi asks if anyone can tell the difference between good and counterfeit money, and is convinced its difficult to tell the difference.
Nivedha and Aadhi sitting in a park. (Nivedha is now a new girl, the old one has been replaced). Nivedha is on mouna viradham for their wedding to happen. Aadhi is confident but not sure how it will happen as SM is always shouting. They both leave for tiffin and shopping on Aadhi's bike. Anu's car passes by then and she overtakes them and confronts them in nadu theru...thodarum.
(They changed Nivedha to a new girl, can they please change RR and Palli as well? Really dislike both their faces )

Update for Friday, June 3, 2011:
Anu sees Nivedha and Adhi on the bike, tells the driver to stop and gets out. Adhi tries to explain, but she says they are not to meet again, unless he can get his father's approval for their marriage. RM is watching all this from his car (how did he know to come there at that exact moment?) Adhi sees him after Anu and Nivedha leave, RM pushes off.
RM goes home, his wife brings him some coffee, and what does our man do? He knocks it off to the ground, she has no idea what is going on. Shruthi also comes there and asks what happened. Mom has no idea, Adhi comes in and stops when he sees RM. RM says he saw Adhi with Nivedha, Adhi says he is definitely going to get married to Nivedha, and adds, with your consent. RM is furious, as usual.
Paati is doing arati and Balu and Meenakshi are standing there. Paati tells Balu to get the auto, he hesitates, she wants to know what is wrong, and he says they are worried about going over to see Shree, whether she will accept them, will she be okay since she has already been through so much mental agony over the kidnapping and Palli yelling at her. Paati tells them that Shree is very mature and she will take whatever they say in the right spirit. Balu has bought a sari for them to give Shree and they take this with them.
Gayathri is worried over their coming and Shrinivasan tells her not to worry. In the other room, Shreenath and Shree are talking to Adhi and Shruthi. Adhi asks if Prem had come there to see Shree, and Shree says she will never forgive Prem. Adhi says she will understand one day that he is a good person, Shruthi seconds this opinion, but Shree is not going to change her mind for them. Just then, the doorbell rings, and Gayathri opens the door to find Nivedha there. Nivedha goes to see Shree, hugs her, and then goes and sits on the couch next to Shruthi. Shruthi asks Nivedha to forgive her for the words she spoke to her in the past, and then adhi tells her to move so that she won't come between Nivedha and himself.
The bell rings again, this time it is Balu and Meenakshi, and Gayathri invites them in. She calls Shree and asks her to come down. Shree comes down, greets Paati, and then sits beside Meenakshi who hugs her and bursts into tears. Shree is puzzled over this.
