According to the grapevine, the two anchors can't stand see eye to eye and the actress was so upset while shooting the latest episode (to be aired on Saturday) that she walked out of the sets without completing the shooting. Guest Richa Sharma, immediately stepped into Juhi's shoes and helped Annu complete the episode. Director Gajendra Singh confirms the news. He recalls, "There was indeed a big fight on the show and Juhi walked out, leaving the show mid-way. I had no other option but to request Richa Sharma, who was present there as a guest to co-host the show with Annuji." Annu Kapoor with Juhi Parmar in Antakshari It all started when Annuji put forth a simple question in a tricky way, 'A song sung by R D Burman's saali (sister-in-law)' and no one amongst the contestants and the audiences could answer it. "When someone from the audience complained of asking a difficult question, Annuji got upset and spoke of how ignorant the new generation was and how could they not know about Lataji," says Singh. "The whole conflict between the two is about the old and new generation. Annuji feels old is gold while Juhi insists that new technology and artists have taken our country on a global footing," he adds. When contacted, Annu Kapoor said jokingly, "It all was very shocking. I commented something in general about the new generation but she (Juhi) took it personally. She is a kid, roothi hai toh mana bhi lenge." Annu Kapoor has always been the face of Antakshari a show that's been going on for the last 12 years. There hasn't been trouble between former hostess of the eponymous show such as Durga Jasraj, Pallavi Joshi and Renuka Shahane, but with Juhi Parmar his equation is turbulent. "Juhi is a super confident young girl and Annu Kapoor is now feeling and showing his age, which is 51. She's rather quick while age has slowed him down a bit," says our source. On being questioned about his favourite co-host, Annu Kapoor says, "Pallavi and Renuka were excellent actresses and very good singers also. Thay had a good command over language, so does Juhi. But one shouldn't compare them. They all have different qualities." he adds. Our source also adds, "Annu does not want to be overshadowed on the show. His extensive knowledge of ragas and music gharanas is a given but Juhi's charm, ready wit and fearlessness are something he's never faced before. Pallavi Joshi always stuck to her job, Renuka Shahane was a woolly-baa-lamb but Juhi is a total bindaas girl." In the recent shoots, the crew openly admits that Annu is very insecure about Juhi and the tension shows even on the show where both of them desperately try to behave as if they are comfortable with one another. So is the show's future in question as one of the hosts has parted ways? Says Gajendra, "I am going to speak to the two of them individually and I hope it all works out fine and we can shoot the next episode."

that is so bad..i really hope juhi comes back soon before saturday and anuji better apologise to her or make up with her... i really do not want her to leave😲

i don't think anuji should apologize to her....he said nothing wrong. if ppl on the show were unable to get that hint about lataji they don't deserve to be on the show. i'm only 30 years old and was born and raised in canada yet i still got that hint. so its pathetic that ppl born and living in india were unable to get that hint.

i see no reason for anuji to be insecure about juhi. i love juhi, she's a wonderful host but anu kapoor is the best. he's been on this show for so long i don't see any reason for him to be insecure.

lastly i think it was extremely immature for her to storm off of the sets due such a silly thing as that. that was totally unprofessional and i don't respect that at all.

God knows why all the walkouts, dramas and everything dramatic has to happen on Gajendra's shows 😕

anu kappoor was insecure fo hsi co-stars in zee antakshri too, no wodner they were changed ever so often

one can watch the epsidoes and mke out that anu keep trying to cut off ju in between, which si rude. hr surely is insecure

I don't believe she was insecure at all i know you are older than me as I am only 15 but he was very rude and evryone knows Lata Mangeshkar it was just the question. He took it completely wrong and is very abrupt and rude to people especially his comment about the younger generation not loving their country. He was mocking us and all that, we don't have the same circumstances as 50 or so years back when we had to fight but there is still teh same pride.

He was rude to Juhi and blew things out of porportion. Its not the fact he has been longest but the fact that he is rude and can not take that someone has come who matches his wit (and more) as well as relating to teh contestsants better.

I completely agree and my views on this are on teh post above but I would just like to add teh fact that he insecure and could not relate to the contestsants as well as her.

I think the fight didnt start with lataji's ques....it started b4 that...it was related to the song "ae meri zoharzabeen" when west team was trying to recognise the song and juhi and the contestant said that yes this song is in ladies sangeet and for buzurg/old people to dance on... anu said yes old ppl because new gen sumthing sumthing.... however i think he said it in a teasing manner and yes agreed he does keep saying stuff like that....but juhi took it personally sumhow.... and after that she started with anu ji u only start the round...u only give tht clues...u only tell the store...otherwise becoz i belong to sos n so gen...I wonder how all of u couldnt see that...Juhi was upset long before the last round...

nyways anu did try everytime to say believe me with a lot of respect evywhr that probably we arent understanding each othr and u r taking me wrong...but Juhi said u always make these comments about our gen and all...but I have seen anu encouraging the young participants; no where in all the episodes so far have I ever felt that anu kapoor is insulting or disdainful to th young generation..we have seen him being really good and encouraging with the kids... but sumwhr sumhow juhi had taken th thing personally and u cud see that she had switched off in the show...

then the last round with questions anu asked a ques related to dilip kumar with word ud and juhi stopped him as to how is this related to the song the team sang and all that...then with th lata mangeshkar ques things just came to a crescendo....

and there what anu kapoor said was totally out of context...it was not at all related to the argument...i think he also got angry by that point coz he thought tht Juhi was in a way challenging him...so he started with his speeches that he usually speaks which were in no way related to the whole scenario...

and then Juhi walked off the sets...

now the whole thing started on a very stupid point....I dont think anu kapoor had anything to apologise for....its not a single person's fault...

Juhi for being unprofessional from the moment she took the remark personally and from then on not being a part of the show completely...evrywhr commenting i wont say th scores or its my gen to blame n all that...

and Anu kapoor for losing his control all together in the end when he started talking about cricket and war n all that...which was not about the original argument at all...

just my views..
