I had time to reflect -- while showering late last night -- about that scene when Kandu goes on Kalyana Malai. I will watch it in Singapore next Wednesday. Just imagining the scene brought a chuckle. But soon afterwards, guilt took over. I thought it was mean to get laughs out of an elderly man's desperate search for a bride and the director's cynical ridiculing of a good actor to boost his ratings. Brings to mind also how ACD (and that private investigator) had to disrobe to appeal to female fans. Of course, I had no serious complaints about the latter ;-)

Guys, I just saw Monday's episode on Singapore TV earlier this evening -- the one where ACD appears while a poori party is going on at Shanthi's home. Priya looked really good in the last scene, the one where SR approaches her to check whether she has lodged a police report about the missing ECR document. Priya's saree, hairstyle and makeup were superb (thanks to feedback from some of us 😉 . She seems to have also shed some weight.

However, I wish she would go for regular facials and follow a daily cleansing regimen. She has such hideous pimples. (Btw, if SS is reading, I hope he does likewise; these days men generally have no qualms about pampering themselves with skin care products ;-) But Priya really does need to take care.

FLASH UPDATE, DETAILED UPDATE LATER

Priya is taken to the police station, Shankar interrogates, finally asks the inspector to file an FIR and tells her to answer in the court. Shanti tries for ACD cannot reach him. RK approaches a lawyer, they decide to move bail for Priya. SR, Srini, Vishnu, and financier all celebrate. Priya tells Shanti where Charu's e-mail id and phone # are, Shanti tells she will alert Charu. Last scene, SR gets an e-mail bomb from Charu. Srini and SRs face register shock after reading the mail (contents have not been revealed to us)

Awaiting your full update, Shylock. I guess Priya will now miss ACD ... I'd hate to see the scene where Shankar interrogates Priya; he must have been gleeful that the girl who rejected his brother-in-law's hand in marriage and who was once to have married his arch-enemy is now in trouble.

The full update will take at least 45 minutes. Am working on an urgent office assignment, will finish that and post the detalied one.

Thanks for the flash update Shylock. I usually don't watch this serial everyday but happy with the updates. How come Sripriya is not appreaing any more? Has she bailer out of this serial.........

Thanks, Shylock. So Priya is in detention finally. The serials these days have become so formulaic. Every serial has to have at least one if not more female characters in detention.

I suspect the "e-mail bomb" from Charu is her plan to return to India. SR was trying hard to keep her in Malaysia.
