Couldn't resist the urge and I saw the episode online. It was Encounter Durai's day, of course, capped by a commendation from the Commissioner and ACD's Oscar-like thank you speech (no, he didn't thank papa and mama). Joe was already severely wounded in a hail of bullets fired by the special forces team (dressed in black). But ACD administered the final shot that killed him. In style, of course, with hair tousled up, etc. But there was a gratuitous shooting by ACD as he made his way towards the maimed Joe -- he shot at one of Joe's henchmen who had his arms raised in surrender. Wonder whether the likes of Shankar will be used later to make an issue of this. Anyway, CR certainly heard our complaints. Entire episode was focused on ACD and his feat. Jaipadhu nijam 😃

Sorry, Eljay, I have stolen your thunder and I may get chided by our IF policewoman Roja for doing so.

Btw, I believe the encounter scene was shot late into the night on new year's eve.
