Update for wednesday

Nothing much --same beating around the bush...

--Starts with yesterday's last scene. Indhu coming down the staircase and staring angrily at karthik. But karthik and shanti don't see her and indhu just goes up again.
karthik says he has to decide whether to go OTS school in chennai or go to wellington and he says he is losing hope that Indhu will understand him before his leave is over.
Now he finishes his dinner and then sees the frmae smashed in the waste bin. He asks about it and shanti says if I tell you youy will be upset. Karthik says his heart has already been crushed into hundred pieces and so tell me. Shanti says indhu broke your photo.
karthik is upset too much and says he will leave this place and go. Now lots of soga music and karthik cries and cries and cries.....

--SKPD sitting in thee new factory and we see someone putting a "soodam" in a pumpkin. Now Shyam is being led inside by kanakku and SKPD tells his adiytal to light the soodam and take the pumpkin round the factory and come to him.
He tells shyam that you are doing a bad thing by discarding the person who brought you up and also arranged your marriage to the girl of your choice. Shyam corrects by saying she was forced to agree to the marriage.
Now the pumpkin comes back and SKPD tells the man to break the lighted pumpkin into several pieces.He looks at shyam significantly and says you want to conduct valakappu for your dear wife and laughs aloud.
It strikes now for Shyam and SKPD says you are clever and you would have understood. If you don't invite abhirami, beware.I am sure you love your wife.
Shyam is shocked and is led away.

--ACD comes to HQ's with Ghani and sees Shankar who wants to speak to him alone. He tells ACD that he was unjustly suspended because of you but he came out because court has revoked his suspension. ACD replies that you think I am responsible for that? Now shankar continues and says with your encounter ACD reputation, you have managed to get me out of your Range. ACD asks whether you blame me for this also?
Shankar says we will meet soon and you will then know and looks at him with hatred in his eyes.

Karthik comes to Abhi's house and points a gun at her but she smirks at him. She says just because you are a military man, don't take a gun and start showing ariound. She says more likely that if you like a girl you will point it at her husband.
Karthik asks what harm he has done to her considering that his family is keeping away from her. He says you have sowed lies and poison in a young girl's mind.
When Abhi still looks at him in contempt, he says you are after all just a orphan and somebody's pitchai only brought you up.
That remark strikes deep at Abhi and she gets very angry.
Karthik says he and his family will overcome this problem and will be united with Indhu by showing the power of love and affection.
He leaves the place and Abhi is still angry.

Update for Thursday

Another very ordinary episode

Shyam is thinking very deeply and Uma comes and asks what is happening. She says I am your wife and you have to share your problems with me. She says you burst out your problems with me. Now he thinks of the burst Pumpkin and SKPD's big laughter.
Finally he says we have to invite a guest and I am worried about how you will feel. She asks so what is the problem--invite the guest,she says. He says the problem itself is the guest.He says we have to call abhirami akka for the function.. Uma is shocked but says you did not want to call her before but now if you are calling means you have been threatened and hence you are doing it.
But as your wife, I will not oppose what you are saying because you definitely have a reason for what you are doing.

Sarasu comes to Kandhu and tells him about karthik coming and threatening abhi with gun. Kandhu says she will not have a good death at all and says he is waiting to see the bad news about her.

Shanti and Karthik go to the doctor treating indhu. Doctor is seeing a boy and they wait. hen they finally see him,karhik tells him that he is thinking of going somwhere out of sight from indhu. --may be Ooty,wellington or somehwhere. Doctor says wherever you go, indhu will still retain the bad image of you. Even if you come after several years, she will ask the same question. You can't answer it by evading it. He tells about the example of that boy whom he saw just now.
He says that boy's mother was killed by his father and it was seen by that boy who is having regular attacks of memories now. He says he is doing counselling for the boy and in the same way, we need to gradually make indhu's mind understand the real truth. (may be in the 1000th episode of anandham! 😊 )
So doctor suggests to them to just wait patiently. ( but why should the poor anandham viewers suffer 😊 )

Priya in office and preparing in her laptop a tender quote for a new project "meals on wheels" in Southern Railways. Charu madam calls from malaysia and appreciates priya who si very happy. Charu says the menu selection by priya is very good and at this price, we will win the tender, she says.

ACD with JC (who else, nowadays ACD kku JC vitta naadhi illai! 😊 )
Again Divya case (matha ella case um enna aachu! 😊 ) and ACD says he has collected all the details and added all the data given by Ghani also in one file.
Now one by one character is described in one page with their photo.
Starts with divya and then about satish, Kandhu, meesai mariappan and the 2 guys who confessed to killing divya but were subsequently killed. ACD says even though they confessed to divya murder, because they were also murdered by someone, leads us to believe that someone outside is deeply involved in this.

Friday update

ok, here is a little expansion of what I had written earlier.

1. ACD discussing with JC abiout divya case and tells that abhi has been seen with kandhu several times and we need to probe into all that and about the external influences in divya mnurder case
Jc says I hav to get higher authorities permission to reopen this investigation.

2. Indhu going with Priya in bike. Indhu still in irritable mood and when priya starts to ask whether shall we go to icecream shop, indhu says I told you not to ask anything. But they go to shop and indhu keeps staring at iccream and priya says in her house everyone is always very cheerful. She says her elder brother vijay used to say that when they go to battle front,sometimes one of them will not return and they learned to cope with that and her elder brother had always a high opinion of your father.
She had not completed "your father" when indhu interrupts and says what my father? My father has been killed by that person.
She runs out of the restuarant and tells priya not to talk about this matter. She says her father was murdered and don't talk about it.
Priya brings her back in her bike in total silence.

3. Ramya talking to her husband who tells about shyam calling abhi for the valaikaapu function. Ramya calls up shyam and asks him what happened. He says don't ask anything--I just bwant my child and uma to be safe.
Ramya is stunned

4. Tender opening in Southern Railways. Srini comes there. Shivram comes there with priya and tells her her quote was very good and it will be cheap and best and we will win the tender.
After opening, it is seen that both srini's company and L&P had identical menu offered but Srini quoted at Rs.14 per meal --one rupee less than L&P and won the tender. Srini comes and tells priya and shivram better luck next time. Priya/shivram are shocked.

5. Priya sends email to charu and tells what happened. Charu calls and tells that she is shocked, She says surely someone has leaked out the information. Priya now says she does not want to blame anyone but she just wants to say that somedays back, srinivasan came here and was talking for a long time with Shivram.
Charu is angry at hearing this and asks why you did not tell me this news before. Now she tells Priya that she will handle this matter further.

Update for Monday May 21

Nothing much today--the only relief is "NO INDHU" and so at least some respite!

Shyam comes to abhi's house and enters with hesitation. Sarasu gives him a big welcome and abhi asks from the top to ask whether "saar" will come up or she has to come down/
Shyam says no one needs to come down for him and goes up.
He now sees abhi and keeping his face as gruff as possible, gives the invitation and says he is inviting her for his wife's valaikappu.. She says you can at least give that with a normal face at least. Shyam says he has been forced to do this and hence it will be like this onmly. Abhi does not want to tease him further and accepts the card and says she will come.
She asks him to eat something but he says he will not eat anything and after a pause tells that as long as she is here.

Srini and vishnu waiting for shivram and even though he is late, they say they don't mind because shivram has done a great thing for them. Now shivram comes and tells them that now onwards, he will be the financier and srini and vishnu will have to do all the action. The profits will be share, he tells them. Vishnu also wants some job for him and shivram assures him that he will arrange it soon. Shivram says if you do you the jobs sincerely, it ios ok but if you do some cheating, it will be very bad. He also says if we get into any trouble at any time, then I can arrange any passport/visa immediately and we can catch a flight and get away.
Srini/vishnu assure him total cooperation.

JC sees ACD and tells him that we have been given approval by commissioner to reopen the divya case and you can make a special team and you can even investigate about abhirami. JC tells him to keep him advised about all developments.

Abhi comes to SKPd's house and tells him that shyam came and gave the invitation and says her thanks to him. She says there was no real respect in shyam's voice but there seemed to be fear. SKPD laughs and says he knew shyam will come. Now lots of emotional blah blah like abhi telling him that you are taking so much care of me and skpd ayiong you are more than a daughter to me...
Now skpd says he is angry that abhi did not tell about karthik threatening her. He says madan was at least a former husband but who is this karthik?
Abhi says she does not regard karthik as a manushan even and hence did not bother telling him. He says he might take up a gun to defend our country's borders but here if he crosses the border or limit and takes the gun, skpd will even remove that hand.

Shivram comes with vishnu to JC's office and tells him that the police construction project jkob will be done by vishnu as per charu madam's directions. JC says he has not been told anythingb like that by charu. Shivram says charu has specifically told like that to him./ JC says he has to speak to his higher officials and get the necessary approvals for giving the job to vishnu.

ACD comes to kandhu's office and lots of satirical talk starts. ACD starts by showing lots of respect to kandhu who can't understand what is happening. Kandhu asks whether he shall get some thing for him to eat. ACD asks whether he can bring anything. Kandhu says yes.
ACD says ok, then bring me human blood.. Kandhu gets shocked.
Now the talk gets diverted to abhi. Kandhu says he calls her mamao or mamungo as a respect . ACD asks whether kandhu calls all woman like that in a respectful way?
ACD goes on and asks what about Divya?
Now a series of flash back starts about divya and enters with her murder.

Update for Tue 22 May

Very brief only because hardly anything happened today!

--ACD talking to kandhu and asks about Divya and kandhu keeps quiet and thinks about all flash back. ACD asks why are you keeping quiet and then make him tell about divya. He says divya was working with him and then for her mother's operation borrowed money from 2 people and he heard that she was murdered by them. He says later those 2 people also were killed. ACD asks whether he knows how those 2 people died and Kandhu says he does not know.
Acd now gives him 1 week time to come clean on this matter since he is sure that kandhu is lying.

After he leaves, kandhu tells his men that after meesai mariappan was seen by ghani, all problems started for me.

--Priya in her office and JC calls her and tells her that as per request fom shivram, he is transferring the project to builder vishnu and he wanted to convey to charu this information. He wants to know charu's mobile number but priya says she does not know herself and only sends email and madam only calls back. Now she promises to send the email and sends it to charu that shivram and builder vishnu visited police HQ to meet JC and she wants to give this info.

--Another series of flash back about divya. ACD sees the long lost Dinesh. He asks about Divya, how she came to his life, became a business partner and later ran up huge expenses in some ad campaigns and then dinesh was forced to take loans from kandhu.
He says he had very angry arguements with divya since he learnt that she was an agent of kandhu. One day she called him to come urgently and when he went there ,she was dead. He then recounts how he was accused of being the murderer and then later released. ACD asks do you know about abhi. Dinesh says he knows only that abhi was doing her best to destroy our family. ACD asks whether he knows anything else in this case which might help him and dinesh says nothing else he can tell.

--Valakaapu preparations in full swing. RK,wife, madan,rohini all come. Uma says she is sad that shanti is not coming. Raji says in shanti's present state of mind, she can't attend the function. Uma says she and Shyam plan to go to shanti's house later.
Now shyam is receiving everyone and thinks that all are happy for the function and I hope that abhi does not come now.

Update for wednesday

Well hardly anything today--really boring!

Valakaapu in full swing. All are doing nalangu to Uma and now comes abhi and all are silent and abhi is only smiling. She approaches uma. Madan asks RK why this woman came here --who called her here?
RK tells his 1st sensible sentence regarding abhi--this is shyam's function and so let us keep quiet now.
Abhi does all the nalangu and uma is very sullen.Then abhi goes near Ramya having the plate with "thaamboolam". Ramya turns her face and brings the plate near to abhi who takes the thaamboolam and walks out.
Now comes in ACD who sees abhi going out. She asks him "oh, you are also called for valakaapu function". ACD replies in "orumai"--unnaiye koopudumbodhu ennai koopida maataangala?"
Now ACD tells her that he ha asked kandhu about divya murder case and is going to ask he ralso about it. Abhi asks whether you want to ask about it now. ACD says no, he will asks her later, here a auspicious function is going on. Just before going inside the house,he again turns to her and tells her to think about everything regarding divya case.

Police commissioner with JC and another officer comes with shankar who tells commissioner that Divya case is reopened but ACD doing is not strictly correct. He is related to divya and hence he might not do the investigation in an impartial way. Shankar offers to do the investigation himself.
Commissioner asks JC for his opinion. JC says ACD is related to divya but in this case, Divya was the victim and not the oppressor. So there is no way in which ACD will protect some one who is divya's relative etc during investigation.
Commissioner tells shankar that ACD will continue and he can go. After he goes, JC tells Commissioner that this is purely due to jealousy.

ABHI thinks about what ACD told her and also thinks about kandhu's talk with her and phones now to skpd. He asks about the function and asks whether everyone respected you. She says there was no problem and then tells that acd is troubling about divya case and this kandhu has also told about me. We need to take out that mariappan away from him and if he is with us, it will be better. SKPD says no problem, he will take care.

Kandhu with his people somewhere outside and they tell him about ACD questioning dinesh and abhi (how they know) about divya case and now kandhu says he told that mariappan to go to andhra but he is not listening to me and he is thinking about his family only.
He thinks we need to keep this mariappan in some room away from everyone!

Update for Thursday

Please everyone excuse if my update is super brief because today's episode after 2 days of "NO INDHU" concentrated on her only!

1. Karthik comes to RK's houe and says uruk uruk sob sob dialogues that indhu is breaking his photo and so he has decided to stay with his parents only and away from indhu.

2. Kandhu's men come to mariappan's house and learn from his wife that he has been taken by 4 people away. They tell kandhu who says this must be the work of skpd.

3. Mariappan is beaten by skpd's men somewhere and skpd comes there and tells him that if he wants to live then mariappan should do what he says. He agrees and skpd tells his men to take mariappan to a hospital.

4. Shanti comes to RK's house with indhu and the usual sob stories. Now indhu doing home work silently in the sofa and when Raji tries to advise her, she moves away in the sofa and Rajo comes near to her. Finally there is no place further to go in the sofa and when Raji comes near and again advises, Indhu throws the book near Raji in anger. Raji gets very annoyed and shouts at her what you are thinking of yourself --how you can behave like this etc etc..
With the shouting, Indhu gets scared and shivers near her mother.

5. Indhu sleeping and blabbering in sleep and shanti sees that she has high fever. She calls Priya and they call a doctor who gives medicines and says indhu is frightened of something.

6. Next day, shanti/priya take indhu to the psychiatrist doctor and tell him what happened. They tell him no progress in indhu so far regarding her behaviour..
Indhu is moaning "periamma" in the bed. Doctor seeing this hurries away taking his mobile and I knew what exactly he is going to do.
True enough, he calls Abhi and tells her.

Now abhi comes there to the surprise of the 2 madams waiting outside the doctor's cabin.
Abhi goes inside and indhu responds to her saying "periamma" and indhu and abhi clasp their hands together tightly--nalla jodi porutham dhaan! 😊

Update for friday

Inniki ore Indhu puraanam dhaan and only a little bit on divya murder case added. Nothing else 😔

1. Abhi comes to clinic and sees indhu who says periamma and they clasp their hands together. Abhi just caresses indhu's forehead and puts her to sleep.
Doctor talks to abhi and the sound is is muted.
Abhi comes out and gives a slight nakkal glance at priya/shanti and leave.
The 2 madams rush inside and ask doctor who takes shanti aside and tells her that it is advisable that indhu is with abhi for a week at least. He says he is telling this as a doctor and is not concerned about their family issues. Shanti refuses to agree and doctor says otherwise you might look about treatment in a hospital as a long term solution.

2. Lot of discussion in RK's house. Everyone opposing sending indhu to abhi but RK as usual supports the idea and says we need to think about what is required for indhu rather than cloud our judgement by our anger towards abhi. He says if abhi tries something else, he will not keep quiet--all vetti petchu from RK as usual!

3. Arjun/karthik discussing same matter. Karthik now coming round to accept the situation that it might be better to send to abhi. Arjun says once this problem is over, he will finish off abhi.

4. ACD with JC and talks about divya case (matha case ellam solve aagi vittadhu madhiri--correct aa??)
He says Ghani has found that mariappan is kandhu's man and this kandhu and abhi have had contacts which we need to probe.
JC says kandhu,mariappan and one X is involved and so find out now.

5. Indhu at home getting ready herself and refusing help from shanti/priya and she is not speaking a word and behaves in a rude way with them.
Priya gets ready to drop her to school in scooter but she ignores her and calls for a auto who stops and picks up a child alone without any hesitation and carries on.
Priya is shocked and follows the auto in her scooter.

6. Shanti's aunty comes from village and they talk about what else except indhu. Aunt says she has checked in the village and found that it is a bad time for indhu and the parigaaram advised is for Shanti and indhu both to have " alagu vetchu thee midhikaanum" .

Shanti looks stunned and looks like that will surely happen in the next episode!
So happily expect more of INDHU in future episodes!

I checked last weeks update thread and saw Dee's brief update there. Thank you Dee for your prompt update.... Here it is.

Shanthi, Karthik, RK, wife and Madan having a discussion on fire walking as Shanthi's atthai had wanted Shanthi and Indu to do so... RK is very upset about it and doesn't want them to do it... Arjun in the meantime is talking to Indu trying to convince her about how good Karthik is and as usual she gets very upset
Muthuluxmi (is on to Sivaraman) calls him and requests him to buy a piece of land and wants to build an upscale mall. He agrees to look in to it and calls up Seenu and they both scheme to buy the land and mark up the price so that they could pocket some of it......
Meesai is in the hospital and Ghani is spying on him... ACD comes there and they are wondering whether he has been set up by Kandu to put on an act...

As usual it was just Indu saga with a brief appearance of ACD in blue kurti (maybe tshirt). I missed the first scene...but I am sure it was nothing worthwhile.

Abhi in a nice green saree complaining to SKPD on how ACD is investigating every nook and corner about meesai mariappan though he is targeting only me. SKPD wows that no one can go free if they hurt u and I will see no harm can be done to you. Even after the promise she looks worried.

(first part could be related to this).Sivaraman who is not in white and white anymore calls Srinivasan. He says that Charu has called him to Malaysia. Srini says how come...maybe she now knows about you and me. Sivaraman says I will not go to Malaysia, I will tear my passport and will tell her I have no wait for new passport. He also says I wont let Charu come back to India (Huh....maybe he will hire someone to tear her passport.....)

Shanthi, mama and athai discussing Indu...mama tells that you guys lived separated for long time than together (analogy: CR tortured us more than making us delighted). Shanthi says Indhu's is not disease but mana varutham.

Wait till you hear the next one fans!

Indhu comes to her room and does something with her book and backpack....she spots the teddy bear Karthik brought for her. She stares at it..next she starts tearing the bear into pieces and sets it on fire. Smelling fire all rush to her room and stand helpless....

Useless RK and ACD at RK's house. ACD sitting with his head bent down...Rk explaining the whole Abhi/Indu stuff to him. I didn't exactly like w hat he was wearing...but for ACD its ok....anything is fine. ACD says that doctor is telling for Indu's good only and I feel Abhi wont harm a child.. Rk says maybe we should write a rigid agreement. Durai agrees and asks RK to choose a good lawyer to get draft for the agreement.

Even more disgusting scene

Abhi, RK, Raji, Indhu , Shanthi and doctor are sitting while Karthik waits outside. Abhi bandha pannufies that she has lots of work. Doc says you sign and take Indhu, only you can get her back to normal. All others stand like dead snakes. Abi says you don't believe me so you are asking to sign me. Doctor says no its not like that. Appo enmela bayama...? she asks. What will you do if I don't sign? Shanthi looks at her angrily with disgust. Abi says I will sign just to prove that you are indeed scared of me and indirectly tells everyone....you better understand Abirami atleast now. Doctor asks Indhu now do you want to go with periamma? Indhu blinks...not telling anything. Shanthi stares at Indhu....

FREEZE

I know psychiatrists are required not to show disturbing expressions...but yesterday the doctor kept smiling showing all teeth throughout....not appropriate for the moment at all. Wonder if he needed a treatment himself.....
