Govindan is still on the loose, continuing to blow abhirami's covers if she does not help him get his false passport. Abhirami informs kandh's about govindans call & kandh's says that he will have to find him and finish him. abhirami is tensed

Raj goutham goes home & narrates about shanthi , raj & umas, offer to join their company & his denial. His wife ramya is on her trip & encourages him to join his brother. Man she keeps shaking her head for no reason, watching her my kazhuthu might sulukyfy. Anyway raj as always heeds to ramya's wishes and joins shyam & co.

This aggravtes abhirami & ofcourse srini. abhriami tries to sweet talk shyam and tell how she has given up all her association with srini & kands for syam, so how come he has made partners with popel whom she doesnot like and she tells him that he is inexperienced and shanthi is playing a game. shyam tells her i might he ineperienced but he knows a good person form a bad & raj is a good person. abhi is unhappy

srini goes to raj's house and yells at him & raj answers him back. ramya finally tells srini that raj didnot want to work, but she forced, him and it has nothing to do with putting srini down, but to establish raj in his own business and use his education. srini says his wife son &no dil are all against him & wasted

scene betweeen shanthi, karthik, rk & raji,& karthik is his usual self screaming for nothing without understanding others issues, & shanthi standing her ground. finally rk says it is about time there is some give & take between the two of you, there is no point living the way they are

govindan gets in touch with nallan while trying to connect with abhirami, nallan gives govindan a sob story & wants to graball of the wanted govindan. govindan meets with nallan & gives him two bundle notes of currency and asks him to give one to his familys grocery store so they wont starve, & aks nallan to keep the other. nallan is scheming to keep both & then grab all of govindans money, & decides to protect govindan otherwise the cops will get all the money

Dinesh's house

Shanti comes in and asks Dinesh why he is going abroad despite
opposition from his wife/mother. He says he is not gtg opportunities
here and there is no alternative. Shanti then says there is no need to
go abroad because she will provide the opportunity and talks abt the
offer in Shyam's project. Dinesh readily accepts the offer to the
delight of his wife/mother. Dinesh says he helped several people
earlier but now no one came to his assistance except this "akka"
(Shanti is really the akka for all)

Kartik's vehicle showroom

Kartik,Arjun.,Balaji are talking when Shanti's uncle arrives. Everyone
is surprised except Kartik who says he only called him from his
village to Chennai. Kartik says that Shanti is behaving as she likes
and he cites her bringing in Shyam,Srini's son to her group. He says
after Abi's treachery, he does not want to have anything to do with
their family members and also Srini but Shanti does not understand
anything and keeps on doing these sort of things. He admits he does
not have any authority to speak her, being divorced, and hence he
called her uncle to come and take her back to his village and leave
our family to ourselves to do what is good or bad for us. Shanti's
uncle listens but doesn't say anything particular and then walks out.
Arjun/Balaji are however shocked and try to reason with Kartik.


Shyam's new project office

Dinesh comes in and says he is joining with them. Shyam/Uma of course
are very happy. Dinesh then gives a model album and says he has done
some background work for the project and compiled a model directory.
On hearing this Shyam/Uma are pleased that before gtg the actual offer
itself, Dinesh is taking so much interest.

On the road

Shanti's uncle is walking on the road thinking abt what Kartik had
told him earlier, when a car stops and Abi comes out. She tells him
that she does not have any hostility to Shanti and she wishes always
the best for her and also that she wants her to be away from RK's
family, who are not good (according to her) and wants her to live
happily with kartik. She keeps on repeating the same thing and
Shanti's uncle merely listens not knowing whether to believe or not.

Dinesh's model show

Dinesh talks to a advt rep abt organizing good coverage for Shyam's
silk project. We are shown several captivating sarees with innovative
designs and a model is shown wearing some of the sarees. Perhaps, the
ladies in this forum might watch these designer sarees with interest.

Shanti's house

Shanti's uncle comes in and asks her where is Indu. Shanti says she
has gone to school. He then tells Shanti that when child comes, they
shd pack up and come back to their village.. Shanti does not
understand and asks whether he listened to anyone eles's talk. He
replies that you have suffered enough and u shd live for yourself and
not for others. Enough of this place full of treachery,deceit. He says
even if his sister (Shanti's MIL) were alive, she would have told the
same thing. He suggested that she can come back to the village and be
happy teaching in a school etc.Shanti then says she is quite happy and
then he tells that so far he had never heard her telling lies and now
she has started telling lies also. Shanti looks stunned.

Shanthi says mama some one has spoiled your manasu. She then guesses that it is karthik who has filled her mama's ear. Her mama gives an ultimatum about either shanthi gets back together with karthik, or she should move to the gramam with him. He says till she decides he will stay with her.

Shanthi arrives at RK's home. RK says i dont know how to thank you, shanthi says why mama why do you have to thank me. RK says he has to thank her for directing shyam, uma, raj goutam & now Dinesh. He says he feels good that she is so courageous. Shanthi says that if only your son can think of these things, it would be very good for me. How come your son doesn't look at things the right way. She tells RK about how karthik called her mama, & asked him to take shanthi back to the grammam. She also tells how her mama is insisting on his 2 conditions. She requests RK to come and explain things to her mama. RK promises to do so.

RK speaks to karthik and & tells him mariyadhai should not be just in words, but shouldbe in action too.karthik is stunned, RK then questions karthik about what right does karthik have to tell shanthis' mama to take her back to her house. RK says did you even think of how hurt she would feel. Karthik says i dont like any of her actions, cause of all her actions, abhirami is getting powerful. He says she came back from gramam, only in her belief in RK. Only if shanthi gets back to the village abhirami will leave all of them alone. Raji asks karthik to face her and tell if shanthi goes back home, would he be happy.

RK says i never understood her in the beginning, but now i know her quiet well,how come u dont seem to understand her. Karthik leaves Raji asks RK to let karthik think.

Shanthi is cutting vendaikkai, mama reading paper, indu working on her homework, RK arrives, and mama looks skeptical, as he remembers RK throwing him out of RK's house. Seeing RK ,mama puts his head down and says vAnnakam. RK apologies for his past actions. Indu comes running to RK, who gives her candy, mama is surprised in a pleasant sort of way. RK asks so how are things in he village, r u here to take shanthi back to the village, for any ViShesham. RK says did you tell him that you wont go with him. Mama says no she has to go back to the village. RK says please dont be in a haste, like my son. I will make shanthi & karthi get back together, take my word for it. Shanthi & her mama are pleasantly surprised.

Shanthi is inviting indu to eat, when indu spots raji. shanthi invites raji inside. indu says that she forgot to tell thatha something, so she asks shanthi to tell her. shanthi tells that it is indus birthday tomorrow so she wants to have everyone over. Raji says she came to apologise for karthis actions. Shanthi says you guys lost a lot, by giving up your money. mama did this for making abhirami realise, that she is wrong. so shanthi has to help in that casue. Raji takes indu with her to her house and asks shanthi to come and join them the next day so they all can celebrate indu's b'day/

Rk comes home calling for indu. Indu comes and RK gives her clothes for her b'day. Karthik is happy to see her. Indu says im not going to talk to you, cause u never come home. Karthik asks why did thatha buy you new clothes. Indus says Aiya unaku theriyadha..

Karthik is reminded by RK & Raji that it is indu's b'day the next day. Raji also taunts karthik as to what kind of a father he is that he has to be reminded of his daughters b'day. Karthik says he has been spaced out recently, but tomorrow they all will celebrate indus' b'day

DAy of the b'day shanthi arrives with her mama, karthik gets the cake & candles and sets it up inthe table, indu is wearing sweat pavadai chattai, then rohini arrives, with madan, followed by karthik, just when they are about to cut the cake shyam, uma & raj walk in with presents, karthik gets very upset at seeing them and he tells shanthi's mama that this is why he wants her out of his life, since she always associates with people whom he does not like, it is an awkard scene, the cake is cut karthik leaves during that time. Uma & co leave without eating anything. Karthik spends the time in the beach, loser.

shanthi's mama is giving her an earful about how she should respect only what karthik says. shanthi as usual disagrees( so do i) karthik returns late in the night and finds out that indu has been waiting for him without eating as he had promised to take her out to eat. karthik says he is sorry(so irritating & fake) and asks her to get ready to go indu says she will eat what patti has cooked today. they are all happy

shyam & raj goutam go to see shanthi during office hours, they say it is important, shanthi is listening, shyam starts to say something
