Thanks for filling in for me, Eljay. I guess I didn't miss much apart from the 2 second romance. Sue, I think the one who is squeamish about on-screen romance is Vanaja (Priya). SS has had romantic encounters in other serials, e.g., Simran Thirai and that Kalainyar TV serial with Kushboo; forgot the name. Presumaby, SS will have a new heroine in the new Sathya Jyothi serial though I'd like to see another SS-Vanaja pairing.

Btw, I wonder whether we will have a 20 second romance next Friday, it being the eve of Valentine's day. I know I dream.

Priya gritting her teeth - "😡, ippo mallipoo season illai, idhu kaatu mallipoo, vaasanaiye kidaiyaadhu. Idhu theriyaamala Ganikku kitte vangi kuduthu anupicheenga?"

adhuthu yaaru continue panna pora?😆

but tries to cover up - " Illai da , we all went together for a case....
.saw the flower seller... I was about to go and buy..
appo AC called...athaan"

Priya was in a good mood - "atleast kaatu malli yaavathu
vaangi anuppinare..so innikki thayir vadai pannalaam.."-
now she does not want to give hubby the special snack
" warm tea and porai biscuit thaan innikki...." Hands out
the snack and turns the other side...

FIL times it beautifully "Priya , thayir vadai excellent...can u
give me some more?"

ACD face le ee aadalai." thayir vadai yaa?? Priya, enakku?"

Priya with a smug satisfaction " unga share ai Ghani kku
kuduthutten......"

ACD's face looks like pullichi pona thayir vadai. Just then, the doorbell rings and in comes a delivery man with a small box. Priya goes to the door and signs for the item, which feels cold because of the ice pack in it. A card in the box says "Gulab jamun for the newly weds. Happy Valentine's Day, Commissioner Vincent."

ACD's face brightens as Priya blushes. The considerate FiL takes his leave. Slowly Priya opens the box and looks at the golden brown balls soaking in syrup. Licking her lips, she is about to pick up one gulab jamun when ACD suddenly grabs the box from her and runs out of the house. He flings it across the gate. Then he grabs Priya and ducks under the table ....

The street where ACD lives looks as if it just
finished celebrating Diwali..... sniffer dogs are
all over.... the whole police force is running
helter-skelter Oh yes, u guessed it right - the
gulab jamun box was wired - ACD and Commissioner
are barking orders.... Ghani is running around -
Where is Priya??? WHERE IS PRIYAAAAAA??
Well, she is inside - giggling - has she gone mad??
The explosion managed to unscrew the bolts???

Nah nah, she is just reliving the "hiding under the table"
act - when ACD finally managed to duck under the table,
he pulled Priya inside and the table was too small for
two to hide....... awww yes, this is romance.... rather the
nearest that ACD can think of ....... Priya managed to smooth
out those furrows and even managed to smell the after shave
....while hero was closing his ears ......

Roja akka writing romance for ACD - Priya😆

ok back to the continuation of the story😃. Gani is running around scrutinizing the street and finds 'sirippu thirudan', Sameer's boss, who is hiding behind a 'iruvatchi' (ixora) bush, alternately laughing and sheding tears of joy. As ACD threw the sweet box out, a gulab jamoon had landed inside his mouth and uprooted his problematic and decaying tooth. But he swears he had nothing to do with the bomb and had only come looking for old tamil😛 newspapers and magazines. Meanwhile inside the house, under the table.......
