Shanti sitting in the living - looks like she is waiting for Manisha and Karthik to return. Karthik comes home in his car and enters. An auto too comes and stops at the gate and Manisha gets out of it. Shanti is watching this from inside. When Manisha comes in, Shanti asks why she did not go in the car with Karthik. Manisha stops but doesn't say anything. Shanthi asks they went to the hospital together but why come back separately. She asks what is wrong with her and the doctor said. Manisha says it was nothing she was not feeling good and went for check up and now feels better and goes in. Karthik just look on without a word. Shanthi goes on thinking mode.
The doctor whom Priya works for is all smiles and very happy. His father gets food ready and asks him to come eat. Doctor refuses saying he is not hungry. Father is surprised as his son does not eat outside. Father tells the son that he has been watching for the past 2 days and is happy to see the son smiling again. Doctor tells his fatehr to stop teasing. Father then asks about their tour but doctor wants to cancel. Father says two thirds of the fair will be forfieted if the cancel now but doctor says it is ok. Father says he will cancel and goes in. He feels something has happened to his son that makes him very happy and hopes it will last.
Madan goes to see Charulatha at her house but hesitates to go in. Charulatha says Abirami is not in and for him to come inside. Madan apologizes but Charulatha says no need to apologize as he had communicated on everything. She tells him she is proud of him. Charulatha says RK had called her about the Tust. Madan says he has already spoken to his father about the Trust. Charulatha asks about the problem in Karthik's house. Madan says he feels Shanti wants to move out and let Manisha and Karthik live together. Charulatha says they did not tell her that Abirami is the cause of all the problem. She tells Madan that eventhough she is not there she knows about all her movement. Madan tells Charulatha that he is happy that Charulatha knows about Abirami and would soon get rid of her. Charulatha tells Madan , she cannot do that because no matter what, Abirami is her daughter. She also tells Madan that she had been deprived of the mother/daughter relationship and is not willing to give Abirami up. She wants to change Abirami into a good person and she is confident she will do it. And only then she is a good mother.
The phone rings and Manisha answers. It is the doctor and he asks if Shanti is at home. Manisha says she is and tells Doctor that Shanti knows that she and Karthik had gone to see her. Doctor tells her not to worry as he knows how to handle the situation. Manisha tells Karthik that the doctor is on the way. Doctor arrive and tells them not to worry and Manisha goes in to bring Shanti. Shanti comes and Doctor introduces himself as Dr. Gurutharan. Dr. asks Manisha how she is feeling. Manisha says she still feels suddenly jittery and tensed and gets emotional. Dr. tells Manisha nothing is wrong with her except she is very stressed. He tell Manisha it is because of anger and wants her to show her hand. He checks and says that she is very stressed. He then asks Shanti to show him her hands. He checks her pulse afor a few minutes and says Shanti is totally perfect. He tells Manisha she needs to be like Shanti. To have clear thoughts. Shanti is listening to this conversation. Dr. says it is because of our thinking. When there is a problem, she should share and talk with others or at least with Shanti, only then her burden will lessen. He asks Shanti it that is true and Shanti nods her head. Dr. says depresion is nothing and can be treated easily. THODARUM.
