Dec 26, 2008 Update

DEFINITELY NOT WORTH WATCHING.

Looks like a spillover from yesterday ?

Shanti and Manisha confrontation. Manisha wants to know why Shanti behaved that way. Says it would have been better if she had just collected the cheque and left, what Shanti did just now might have shown her in bad light. Manisha is very upset Shanti behaved this way to her. Manisha says she knows Shanti was not in a depression any more, and that Dr. GD had told her Shanti's request. Shanti upset in tears.

RK goes to meet Charu. Charu apologizes for Abi's behavior toward them. RK suggests Charu take Abi to a psychiatrist for counseling and stuff. Charu also agrees.

Anitha and Arjun start arguing about SKM. Enter Shanti, who requests them not to fight. Shanti reveals to A&A (indirectly to us) why she is still hovering around the household. Says she wants to make sure Manisha and Karthik unite, feels if she packs her bags and leaves Manisha will do the same too and Karthik will be left alone and hurt. She is here to ensure M&K unite. Arjun is upset. But Shanti asks him not to be and leaves.

Manisha comes to Charu's house. Some talk about all the difficulties a woman has to endure. FREEZE on Manisha.

Folks, nothing much happened yesterday. It was another NWW episode.

Manisha and Charulatha in discussion. Charu praises Mani jaan and Shanti, saying they are example women. Feels bad about Abirami. Of course our darling Sammandhi amma is standing outside and eavesdropping. She is seething inside. Charu tells Manisha that Abirami wanted to insult her and Shanti and even went to the extent of handing over Karthik to the police, wonders whether her daughter will ever change. Mani jaan believe that Abirami will change for good. Abirami is fuming listening to all this.

Arjun comes to Madhan's house to see Rohini. They have an argument. Finally Arjun declares that if anything wrong happens to Shanti he will not keep quiet and leaves.

Charulatha lands in Dr. GD's house for Abirami's sake. Narrates to GD Abirami's history, about her and about SKPD. Wants GD to do counselling. GD feels it will not be easy to cure Abirami, that it will take quite some time. Says he will be able to decide only after seeing Abirami.

Anitha comes to Madhan's house in an effort to make peace with her sister in law. Says she feels bad for the tension they all created in Shanti's mind. Asks sorry from Rohini. All eat together, joined by RK, who is happy to see a reunited family.

Abirami comes to Rohini's house to find out when Shanti is going to leave and pave way for Manisha to lead a happy life, just like she allowed Rohini to lead her life with Madhan. Rohini is not happy. FREEZE.

Charu goes to GDs house, tells Mr. Appaswamy that Abirami has refused to come for counseling, that she has decided to go Abirami's way to tackle her. She expresses a desire for Abirami and GD to get married!!!!! Appaswamy narrates flashback. Apparently he is GD's father in law. His daughter was never good to GD, was always suspicious of GD and finally self immolated herself. Now he is sort of making up for it by staying with GD and helping him. Appaswamy also says GD is in love with another woman, who he does not know anything about. Charu leaves.

Shanti asks Indhu to call Karthik for breakfast. Karthik comes, idlys are served, but he puts them back into the serving bowl. Finally he has decided to open his mouth, so has Shanti. Kathik apologizes to Shanti for all that he has done to her. Shanti says now that she has no right over Karthik it is not correct for her to keep silent, since silence would mean that she still has all rights over Karthik. Karthik feels very bad. Shanti says she will make sure Karthik and Manisha live together and only then leave. Of course, Manisha is listening to all this and is wondering to herself when and how all this will come to an end (So are we).

Charu comes to GDs office and tells him about her visit to his place (of course GD is not pleased to hear Charu's intentions). Now Charu wants to know about the girl GD likes so that she can go and talk to the girl. GD is quite annoyed, tells her politely not to interfere. Charu persists, GD gets angry, slams a book on the table and leaves. A foto falls from the book. Charu picks it up and looks at Manisha's foto in shock and disbelief. FREEZE
