Thanks Bon - Roja had the pleasure of watching "THE" comedy
scene of Kalyana Parisu just 2 days back - and she just can not help
lamenting like Thangavelu's wife - "Vizhavukku naanum vanthen, vanthu
antha kanraavi yai yen kannale paarthen" - yes Roja watched last night's
episode thinking that ex might say bye bye.....enge??? Roja also
climbed down the snake a la Ex!!!! The next scene - Roja against a
wall - hitting her head on the immobile wall - "paarpiyaa?/ inimel intha
serial ai paarpiya??' The wall is immobile a la Aanandam!!!!!

Roja, I bet Viduthalai will be saying that upon watching this episode, the audience "thattunanga, thattunanga ...." And, you, like Mrs Thangavelu, will have to remind Viduthalai that the audience intends actually to thatthu Viduthalai on his mudhugu. I love that classic scene in Kalyana Parisu.

If only these serials were like Kalyana Parisu! At least all our troubles would have been over in three hours! Now we are suffering through three years, or is it more in the case of Anandham? I know I have been subscribing to SunTV for just a little over two years now, but I started following this serial closely last year, after I discovered this forum.

Eljay, ACD was reported to have joined this serial in May 2006,after it was said to have featured more than 600 episodes. By deduction then, Anandham definitely began no later than in 2004 and has been running for more than 4 years.

Giri, I suppose you have no hopes of RAM (romance after marriage). I don't either. There is no romance before marriage, so it would be too much to expect Viduthalai to offer any romance after marriage.

I can think of several obstacles to the wedding -- S suddenly disappearing (or attempting suicide), RK kicking the bucket, Sameer appearing on the eve of the wedding, causing a car chase and what not by the groom and poor Priya waiting at the altar, Abhi trying to fix the groom somewhat so that he can't appear at the wedding, someone kidnapping Priya (yet again).

OK, OK; I duck .... I don't want slippers and yardsticks coming at me.

Predictions aside in real life how many romances would have turned the corner as many times as the Priya/ACD romance? Cancelled engagements. postponed marraiges, false promises of events to come would have driven nanyone else crazy.

While SKPD is in jail quickly consummate the great event.

Thanks Pat for the swift update. It looks like there is light at the end of the tunnel, after all. Shanthi is seriously thinking about the SKM situation, and the josiyar has given a date for ACD and Priya's wedding. Charu is also back and maybe she will put an end to Srini's meddling. Thanks, Pat. So, do we have a wedding on 1 Jan?? If so, I pray the KSM affair is settled by then so there will be no room for gossip at the wedding (and our torture will end). Plus, Sameer will have to be apprehended by the wedding date lest he tries some terrorist trick on that day. And, perhaps ACD will find sufficient evident to send Abhirami, Srini and Kandu to join SKPD in his behind bars accounts exercise
