TOI: Sandit returns to TV with Anamika

Of late handsome and Sauve Sandit Kumar returned to television with Imagine TV's Me Aaji Aur Saheb but unfortunately the channel's fate failed and the show made by Shakuntalam Telefilms had to bid adieu. Now after a break there is a buzz of Sandit's return to small screen but this time in a cameo role.

Source says that Sandit will essay a character of Shekar in Trishulla Production's Anamika on Sony TV. Informing on the same, source further goes on, "Shekhar is an architect and has come down to India from London to stay with his family."

"Shekhar being an ideal man for marriage, will be chosen for Rano ( Annie Gill) to be her life partner. However, there will be a kind of love triangle, where Shekhar will fall for Rano but on the other hand she likes Jeet ( Mudit Nayyar), whereas Jeet is behind Anamika ( Simran Kaur)," informs source.

When contacted, Mudit confirmed, "Basically I don't do cameo roles but the role and the serial seemed very appealing to me. The production house is very much co operative, hence I took this role. I took a long break from TV for my prior commitments, this role can be considered as my comeback"
