Here are few thoughts:

Set: I think VOI did a great job of setting a wonderful set. It looked amazing and modern. Even the seating arrangement looked pretty good. Ofcourse, only those sitting for 3-4 hrs there would know the truth...lol..

Shaan: Shaan is a great anchor but he wasn't that great in finals. Either it was the big stage or all the people present. He stammered in few places and kept repeating what he said over and over again.

Voting confusion: Shaan started the show saying that voting lines have closed and nothing can change the result now. Then Jatin, Alka and Madhuri came up requesting people to vote from heart. So what were the requesting for now?

Bemisal Barah: I think they all put up a wonderful show. All of them sang well. Irfan stole my heart. The gals did great job for Madhuri. Dances looked so much better. I guess Ganesh Hegde did a wonderful job.

Ishmeet and Harshit: They both did well including the folk songs. Though I hated the concept of them singing their regional folk songs. Even in the end "Har Har Mahadev" and "Jo bole so nihaal" was really annoying. Did they forget they were chosing "Voice of India"??? They also tried very hard to convince themselves that winning doesn't matter. Its true but come on guys go in with a fighting spirit!!!

Madhuri: What can I say about her? She never fails to amaze me. As gorgeous and gracious as ever. I think Shriram and she looked really cute. She connected with people to quite an extent. She gave her fair comments about performances rather than the diplomatic both are equally good. I think its ok to give your opinions rather than keep saying both did well when they haven't.

Lata Mangeshkar: I am a bit disappointed by the whole Mangeshkar show. She seemed either totally flustered due to over patronizing of the show for her or may be it was that she was not interested in being part of the show. She didn't judge the two even though we know it has no value. She also didn't seem to be interested in declaring winner. Madhuri graciously agreed to do it and then Lata ji decided to say it herself. Even Usha Mangeshkar was not interested in giving any views.

Over all the final was well choreographed and didn't seem as dragging as some of the episodes.

These are my views and not sure if people would agree with me but here it is anyways.

I just completed watching the Grande Finale right now.
I absolutely agree with you on each aspect of it. Well-written and analysed I must say! Thank you for sharing those eloquent thoughts...keep writing, dost! 😊

This show started off really well from Episode 1. I didn't pay any attention to Saregamapa that ran parallel with this show from the beginning. Simply because I couldn't stand Himesh & Ismail...and then slowly VOI became just that, with Aadesh 'n Abhijeet's squabbles 'n bickering. Even Alka had started to annoy.

Khair, deserving candidates got eliminated so early on, so what's there to talk about the final competition...but nevertheless, I'm glad it's all over.

Now I'm looking forward to the kids' show in VOI...should prove to be a breather of fresh air Insha-Allah...

God bless y'all...

i watched the show and got the imprssions that

SAKSHAAT SARASWATHI MAA

sic sic

seemed to be out of sorts. She needed two people to guide her on stage. she seemed to be mouthing words on some cues.

i am wondering if she can see and hear or have these become impaired?

she looked completely out of place and did not join in anything.

so ?? what was all the hype about???

I thought this was an Indian show about selecting a voice of india. they went on and on about punjabi greetings and hindi bhajans ,,,,

duh! duh ! and yet again duh!

good thing abhijeet da not there to put in his 2np thoughts.

i knoowwwww, i hate abhijeet now.. i mean what a racist person.. he always has to barge in with basless questions.. especially to ISHMEET. Yaah i also agree with the Lataji thing. I didn't really think her sister, or even her were really interested in all of this stuff. 😛
