Suggestions to VOI for better TRP - Page 2

starplus.indya.com accepts feedback relating to the indya.com site only.

VOI site is lovely as very useful but no feedback option.

Kick out Gajendra Singh. He is the one behind all dramas and nautankis. Last year we saw these dramas in C2005 and this time in AVOI.

Ego boss. Mr Gaj, I am assuming, wanted to take SRGMP head on since he was denied the rights to produce it. So, the problem is not that they dont have another time slot, but VOI changing time slot now would mean a major blow to Gaj's ego. Instead of trying that one thing, he is trying various histrionics to increase trp. Went up to creating protests!! Problem is within.

They should have had it in different slot from the beginning, atleast. My thinking is SRGMP now has 6 contestants. II is gonnabe over soon. VOI has 7 contestants now. Thats a week over than the competitor. They might include another contestant via wildcard. Generally people vote crazily only the last few weeks. SRGMP probably wanted to prolong little further to take on VOI for longer, which is why they didn't eliminate one week.

Lets see how it goes.

There is another thread which gives all the contact information of Star Plus. If any of you want to try fax/phones. Especially people who are local should do so.

The show could also use stronger guest judges - I mean Isha Koppikar is waaayyyyy prettier and sexier than Laloo Prasad Yadav, but guess which show was more popular!!!

Couple of things I found very disappointing about the show..

1. their top 10 started way too soon. They should have given some time to the contestants and to the viewers to form a bond. That could have also helped in establishing a fan base. How could you expect someone to vote crazy for sombody who they haven't listen a lot.

2. Lack of color and festivities. Not to say they need to create a drama but they need to create some joy on the show. the makeup of female contestants is pathetic with all black and brown lipsticks and it also make them look dull and dark with their black/white/brown/pastel dresses.
Also there is no celebration on the show. The casual worlds of exchange between Abhijeet and Alka used to create some fun but that is missing as well.

3. the stage - its very blend and boring, they can use some colors there as well.

4. Ask contestants to be up and lively - again being there for a while might have made them comfortable to show their true selves. So far Priyani was the color of the show and she has gone missing. Abhas also introduces some color.
