Yes, the public has its favorites and some contestants have more vocal support than others, but the point here is about the panel of the show - they are at a responsible position being judges and are expected to be unbiased and are not supposed to show any favoritsm towards any contestant... Else why be on the panel if you are the same as the public when it comes to giving your comments...

This is not a Toshi hype topic but about the judges' reaction to Priyani getting out... Judges are unknowingly making some contestants feel inferior(or superior) than some others...

the judges seem to be most shocked when abhilasha escapes elimination..they all go OHHH! how did that happen 😆 😆

@ sw: I believe there is a point of attachment that came into place when these contestants were divided and given to 2 mentors each.. U're right.. In an ideal world, they should be unbiased.. But when you're training them every now and then and mentoring them, there is bound to be a bond there.. After all, judges are human too and they've emotions as well. And anyhow, I have yet to see the judges' comments making an impact on the overall voting pattern, which seems to be quite shaky and weird lately.. Its almost as if u're lucky if u were in the bottom 4 and did not get eliminated (except for Abhilasha's case).. Next week, u're bound to be safe then out of sympathy at least (just a personal observation) ~ 😉

At the end of the day.... one always try to do his/her best.. But sometimes..emotions do get the best of us..😊

Btw.. I saw Jatin get up and swear by God to bring one of these contestants back when they were down to Priyani and Sumitra.. Or was I seeing things? I saw Alka come on the stage and wipe her tears and hug her.. I saw Abhijeet there hugging her.. Not a lot of vocal drama but all judges were there definitely.. Prithvi judges and Jatin were more expressive than the Agni team.. But then again, even when Toshi was eliminated, Agni team was not shown to be as too cordial towards him.. Perhaps they can't express themselves too much (Lalit & Aadesh).. 😕 Yes.. the intensity of a drama was not as much as in the case of Toshi.. But being a human being, you're bound to have emotional attachments with some people.. And at times, these emotions get the best of us.. Anyhow, I was quite sad that Priyani left.. I liked her a lot.. And I dont want to compare her exit with that of Toshi's simply because it may bring back sad memories for all of us.. In both cases, we lost beautiful singers.. I just hope they continue to thrive ahead in their lives and that we get to hear them sooner than later 😳~

Jatin said he will do his best to bring "them" back - now that was a most general term... It was not a remark for Priyani in particular that he will try to bring her back, and we have seen they have been much more specific in their comments than that earlier... I didnt see anyone "adopt" her... Emotions are fine, but you also need to care about the emotions of others out there...😊 Comparisions are bound to happen when such discrepancy is seen - it is quite apparent and there for everyone to see...

@smallwonder: Like I said.. In ideal situations.. yes, u're supposed to respect others' emotions too, treat everyone fairly..etc etc.. But our SVOI show is anywhere but closer to that ideal situation.. we have seen fights b/w judges occur, personal favorites being advocated for, witnessed things getting blown out of proportion, and so forth. So its anything but real to that ideal or perfect situation. However, in the midst of all this, the poor contestants and audience get to suffer (sighs)~

I am not saying anything different here kabhi .. I also mentioned that yes, favoritism has happened, fights have occurred.. all indicating to the fact that the reality is much bitter and uncalled for.. We dream for an ideal environment to have at every aspect of our lives, but idealism unfortunately is miles away from reality.. Sad and pathetic but it is the truth of today's world.. 😒

Come on guys its a competition and all this hugs and kisses are part of the show.Learn to live and die on your sword.
