I guess, gajji must have been extremely insecure about producing his own show and in a new channel. And channels do dictate terms to evenbig producers like balaji telefilms.
Well if he is confident about his project, and he has the reputation of over 15 years to back him up, why should he be insecure to start with?
my only hope is that next season,he will have courage to do what he believed in from the time he started the show in 1992.
Hasn't his own belief changed since 1992? We saw how much it changed in 2005, and 2006. I can cut slack for C2005, but what about the EMAET show? Or for that matter Lil champs, hadn't the quality of the format already deteriorated since 1992? In that case what did he believe in - which format? Hasn't he come a long way since then?
what i dont understand is why he is singled out every time..there must be some reason for people to believe that all other producers are beyond reproach.
Is he the villain of the Tv industry?..
No he is not the villain of the TV industry. But he is the pioneer of musical reality shows and theerfore expectations out of him to deliver better are more. He made a lot of tall claims and false promises at the beginning of the show, but so many of those promises have been compromised on since then. The drama, the TRP gimmicks, they all contradict his show theme.
And viewers have to right to question when they don't get the package they were promised.
coming to the show
there is no star power on this show(all the people are almost has beens)
the show started late and goes head on with a show which is HIS own creation and brainchild(the irony!!)
But he walked out with his creme dela creme group. Shaan, the biggest star attraction came with him so did many of the other crews. Most importantly he got the #1 Channel as the platform to start the show. Despite that, he couldn't encash on this. That again shows that a better planning was required. He was the mastermind for the earlier show. So when he left, everyone assumed that the other show would surely flop, and I guess he along with his production team may have also felt that and therefore they went all out without proper drawing board planning to tackle the other show head on. What this show lacked out is proper planning and execution.
he doesnt have the money power of a TV channel producing the show,or the biggest producer in the world,Freemantle giving them brand and dollar power..
Star TV is supposed to be doing pretty well for itself. And he is a Star employee isn't he? No show is a one man show, but a result of a group effort with someone leading the group effectively. And he is proving not so good a leader.
still the show is doing pretty well.I think it is a proud achievement..
The show is failing to meet the TRP ratings. That does speak of the public's dissatisfaction at the outcomes. The show may have some good talents, but it is the other frills which has pulled the show down in the TRP scale.
this is my POW,others may of course disagree...
