The latest Tele Buzz article has this buzz that Toshi's elimination has shattered many creative minds of the show and now they possibly want to introduce a Wild Card to bring back the strongest 'contender' of the show....

Wild cards are not a new phenomena.. We have seen that used earlier in other shows, and never has been the decision to bring back a blessed contestant free of all criticism.. As we approach a similar situation here, following are some questions to ponder...

Do you agree with the concept of wild card?

If yes, what should be the criteria of a wild card call back?

Is it fair to the contestants who have survived week after week, and suddenly they have an eliminated contestant back escaping some elimination rounds?

Is it fair to the other eliminated contestants, who - if given back a chance could have proved their worth equally?

If a wild card indeed is used, at what stage of the show (i.e. at how many contestants left) should it be used?

If no wild card, is there another alternative to the same?

i think a wild card round is alright only if it brings back a derserving contestant and not just a popular one.

Wild Card is a good corrective step provided the rules are clearly laid out and equal chances are given to all voted out, not just one person.

But why is it needed? Rule says he is eliminated so why not follow that. Why this sudden change of rule?

I have just one question. Was Ashpreet a bad singer? So why this hue and cry now for Toshi. What happened to this idea of their when she got eliminated???

They are uselessly over hyping him. This whole idea of wild card is something I simply don't agree to. If you really want to have such a round make it clear at the early stage itself that after round # such and such we have the wild card round. But to do so this way!!! No... This is very very unfair on everyone be it the eliminated ones and the one already there.

How much hype got created when Ashpreet got eliminated? Almost nothing as compared to Toshi. So now when they go for SMS voting for selecting the contestants its very natural that Toshi would have the upper hand as compared to others.

Is that fair???

Certainly not fair...!!

Wildcard is a good concept that is being misued on the shows... It is meant to bring back some deserving contestant who might have had a bad day and got eliminated from the show... But it is being utilised to the maximum for hyping individuals and gain popularity for the show... But what can we complain about - there are no ethics involved as it is... The rules have always been changed at will so this is no different... And by focusing on one contestant are they not giving a message that the others are not as good, or they already know that this contestant is going to return even before the wildcard round is done... In the past shows wildcard contestants have always done well... Am not quoting current shows, but in past shows like Cinestars we had the wildcard contestants ultimately winning the competition... Fair or unfair depends on the way it is incorporated in the show and what they are aiming at with it... In this particular case, it is unfair...

Honestly, Toshi's elimination has created SUCH a massive uproar across all media networks. Far from comparison with Arshpreet, Prantik, Prantika, and probably soon-to-be Priyani.
Firstly, no one should have been eliminated for even 25 votes. That's just not right. We could easily be talking about Aabhas's elimination if it wasn't for one person sitting on his computer clicking on Toshi's name 26 more times. In comparison to the thousands of votes that VOI gets, deciding someone's fate on a mere 25 differencial is wrong. Yes, we live in a democratic state but these are simple, ordinary young adults in a singing competition we're talking about, not politicians running for President.

Secondly, rules are going to be changed and manipulated through the progression of the show. That's actually written in the RULES if you have a look at the indya.com website.

Thirdly, I don't think Toshi's elimination was purposely over-hyped. The judges, Shaan and Kunal spoke from their hearts what they felt and how they felt at the moment. It felt like a lot of drama because it was a SHOCK to everyone. In their hearts, it was completely uncalled-for. Gajji quickly responds to the drama on stage and apologizes for the format of the show but he KNEW what kind of a backlash was going to result from this. And it did. Accusations and threats from all different medias (and there are A LOT) obviously helped Gajji in his decision of considering Toshi as a wild-card and not anyone else. ...why? Because there wasn't as much negative reaction and criticism from any other eliminations. So we can continue comparing contestants who have been eliminated and measure who is more talented, versatile and such but I don't think that's going to be the PRIMARY reason Toshi might be brought back. Ofcourse he has strong potential as a VOI and as a great singer and so did everyone else before him. Truthfully, Gajji's primary goal is going to be the matter of pleasing the most people as much as possible, including the judges mostly.

thts what i said.... if gajji feels that toshi is that good that he shd only win... then he shd declare him as winner why waste the money of public on voting😡
